Went in there today and got ice cream with my girlfriend and my kid, and though we got our ice cream promptly, when we got our ice cream from the counter my 3 year old daughter dropped her ice cream right on the top and screamed when it fell a little. Just briefly. Either way it was completely ignored by the staff. There was no “Hey can we replace that for her.” No. Just completely ignored. So we cut the top off and she ate it.. lol. Either way that was my first experience at Dairy Phil and probably my last. Cause that one act was a good enough reason for me to drive to Dairy Queen in Mt. Pleasant next time. She said yes and she did exactly what I asked her to. So as I said depending on the staff overall a pretty good place to visit just be careful and keep...

But maybe the best reason to bypass the local offramp Hamburger Hill for this in-town, old-skool drivein: House smoked barbecue. Chicken, pork, brisket, turkey..sides like smoky potato salad, deep- fried okra and green beans, vinegar based...
