The entrance to the cafe is in alley 39! Not on Yale or 1st :) The service was good, the cashier was so nice, but she doesn't speak English very fluently, and it was somewhat difficult to communicate, especially with the noise of the cafe as a whole, and the atmosphere was decently good too, a lot of people were studying and chatting. Our drinks however were another story, I got a taro smoothie which was definitely good but it wasn't great, the taro flavor was present but a bit weak, and also it was overly sweet and it felt like a mask to the lack of taro flavor, My little brother however got a honey mango iced boba, it was horribly sweet, it tasted like a lemonade syrup and it screwed up the face of anyone who tried it (four of us did and each of us had the same reaction, it was SO badly sweet and sour.) it would've been better if there was 2/3x as much water. The boba in the honey mango iced boba was overcooked and mushy, and the boba in the taro smoothie was undercooked and crumbly. We will be coming back to try their hot teas since they looked really good though, and the atmosphere was very nice.

It is a tea house without knowing about tea. They provide teas and bobas which is a good compromise for everyone. They do offer coffee as well. You need to choose your tea on the counter. It is a nice concept but not sure I really received the tea asked. The owner obviously doesn’t know how to brew tea which is an art but to start your tea journey is not bad because they have a huge selection. Like mentioned in other comments they have a hard time to answer questions and not knowledgeable about teas. The place is hidden and has a good vibe except for the smoke outside. The guy serving was extremely fast. I still can’t understand why some people got huge glasses of tea instead of cups. The place is clean and organized. Price is reasonable. Location of this place was tricky but it is a nice place to hang out if you want something else than Starbucks and boba shop.

This cafe and tea house is inside Claremont Village, a college town for Pomona College and other Claremont Colleges. It’s does feel like a local coffee shop. They have several outdoor tables with covered canopy. Some Japanese gyudon and fried rice are in offer. Espresso machine is there and Americano that I had was hot and quite good. They also offer dozens of different teas you can try. Interior is dark and bit of a dive and the seats are made of plastic or steel but I guess good for a college town cafe. Parking is available in the back lot but it is quite small. Street parking also available for 2 hours.

this place would be a lot cooler if it weren’t ran by that sociopathic balding incel behind the counter with the absolute worst social skills known to man. he seems to foam at the mouth at the opportunity of talking down to his customers as if scaring off the same people who would be paying his bills makes any sense?? but the lack of customers on a weekend explains why he’s such a stingy idiot. i’d be mad too. he’s had a help wanted sign posted for months but hes too busy berating his female coworker and driving away any would be applicants. constantly talking bad about other customers with his regulars but they’re all social rejects who only feel powerful enough to do that in each others presence. gets mad when you ask about HIS own stores products as if we’re supposed to pay him to read his mind. he’s an entitled loser with enough people validating his behavior and will get popped by the right person in that mouth he won’t stop running one day. your money is better spent supporting other businesses that aren’t ran by bitter conservative model minorities who were bullied...

I had an experience here on 3/24/23 at approximately 4pm at your tea facility. Meeting up with a friend and catching up over a nice cup of tea is one of life's greatest pleasures. Unfortunately I can not say my experience with service was anything top notch. As a first time visitor it's a lot to take in with all the jars and labels trying to read and under a flavor without knowing what it really consists of. As a digital nomad who has been all over, my favorite thing is a recommendation for something to try and a new experience. So for par of who I am, I asked for a non caffeinated tea recommendation. Only to met with a response of it's all labeled take a look. That was not my question though. Again I asked for a recommendation and again was met with an attitude described as unavoidably disinterested. With the help of my friend I ended up with a fruit punch tea. Which did taste very good but the service and attitude has me looking for other places to feel like a...
