I want to make this clear, my only issue during this visit was with the kitchen. The bartender was amazing, I wish I caught his name (Terrance maybe? Unsure). I came in Friday night at 8-ish pm. I’m visiting from out of town and was only there for a night. I was immediately greeted, given a menu, ordered my drink and food and everything was going great. I ordered Chicken Fajitas, which took 40 minutes to come out. I understand it’s a Friday night, but 40 minutes for one entree is crazy. I then needed to order some food to go for my sister who was at a concert, and I ordered a dessert while I waited for the to go meal. The dessert (chocolate chip cookie skillet) took 25 minutes, and it should only take about ten. The chicken tenders I ordered to go took another 40 minutes, and when the bartender went to go look for it, the kitchen told him they lost the ticket. Manager asked him if any of it was ever rang in, and it was because I had already paid for it. The manager then went and made my sisters to go food personally, and gave it to the bartender to give to me. Manager didn’t acknowledge the 40+ minute wait times each time I ordered food from the kitchen I had all night. I’ve been server myself and I know it’s not the bartenders fault, but management needs to get some help in the kitchen. I was here a total of two hours simply because of the kitchen. Other people at the bar (which the bar wasn’t very full) had the same wait times. It shows that clearly the kitchen is disorganized if they’re losing checks. It makes the servers and bartenders look bad that the food is taking this long and most guests will deduct the tip because of it, when in reality the bartenders and servers don’t make your food, the kitchen does. Read moreMy friend and I had been looking forward to chili’s all day (especially the texas cheese fries). Upon arrival, we get sat in the corner right next to the door. After looking at the menu, we had to wait at least 15 minutes before anyone came to us. Our server finally greets us but she only takes our drinks and our appetizers, so we had to wait an extra 15 minutes to order our regular food. The table next to us ordered at the same time and got their appetizer and their food at an appropriate time. We were waiting at least half an hour and still had not gotten our appetizers. We were pretty annoyed and it did not help that every time the door opened, a cold breeze would hit us and had us shivering the entire time. We then see a different server bring us our regular food and our hearts drop. We were so excited to eat these cheese fries and have a good time. We let the other server know we didn’t receive our appetizers and she asks what we ordered and says they will check. Our server comes by and asks how everything is and we let her know as well and she says she will check too. We had finished our food by the time she brought the chips and salsa but we had still never got the fries. At that point we didn’t want them. We also wanted refills on our drinks but our server was just ignoring us all night. We wanted to order dessert but she blatantly ignored us and checked on the table next to us and then walked away. At this point we are so mad so we ask the host to get the manager. We try to tell the manager the situation and she just tells us they were busy. No apologies from anyone. I understand being busy but our server never tried to tell us that and blatantly gave the tables next to us her attention over ours. Read moreI’ve been a long time fan of chili’s. Ike is an exceptional server and we love dining with him. However on 4/16 we had dinner here (not with our serve Ike). Our food was okay, steaks were over cooked. At the end of the meal we went to pay on the tablets, but we saw it wasn’t our order, so we told our servers Kayla and Gabi and they “fixed” our order, we didn’t go check it because we trusted that the server fixed it. We paid our check and as we got up to leave Gabi stopped us to ask if we paid and we showed her the email that said we paid and we left. As we were getting into our car they ran out after us yelling at us to come back in because we had paid the wrong bill, after the server “checked” it twice.
We proceeded to go back in and asked if we could just pay the difference between the bill we paid (Bill A) and the bill we owed (Bill B). She said yes and charged us the difference (Bill C), but then remembered that she had already cancelled our original bill (Bill A) so we ended up paying (Bill A) a second time. They said our refund for (Bill A) would be refunded from 7-10 business day and did not provide a refund receipt. They provided a receipt for Bill C and wrote their names.
I called two weeks ago as our money hadn’t been refunded and spoke to a “manager.” They took my name down and I explained the situation, he did not believe that we were owed that money and said that he would have to talk to the servers to see what the situation was.
