This location is not managed well at all. The food is good portion size is a hit or miss. I have eaten here many times always takeout. What is concerning, I've noticed on my last two visits that the counters are horrendous and dirty with food droppings and smears all across the counters. As each order is being made the food is dropping all over the food station. The food is open not covered so its exposed to germs and cross contamination. The counters are only wiped if a customer request it to be clean and to add insult the towel is dirty and spears are still left. Its horrible on the other side where the mobile orders are prepared its definitely a lot of health & safety violations going on. Its a bad representation of the quality of environment and misrepresentation of What is advertised. The floors has food everywhere and tables throughout the restaurant is dirty and garbage is constantly overflowing me. It is my recommendation to use the common sense rule. New manage is needed to come put together a comprehensive action plan to represent the franchise products sold and overall environment atmosphere. There is a immediate need for teaching proper food and health & safety compliances. PROPER FOOD HANDLING. CROSS CONTAMINATION AWARENESS. Whomever the manager of Clark location in my opinion should be sent to managerial training or fired immediately. Time to reshuffle the board and train staff and clean up this location. Starting with Full overhaul of the grill and stove area and vents. New garbage cans, New disposible microfiber cleaning cloths for food counter station. Staff should change gloves after serving especially if soiled with food. Frequent disinfecting the tables and chairs. Keeping floor food free. Let’s Break it down how Unprofessional This Location is.
#1. As Soon as you walk in there is a Line going all the way to the back door. The Staff is very slow and they take 3 Minutes Per Customer... They always say they are out of Certain items just because they are too lazy to actually do their Job. I have just went to this location and ordered a bowl and the guy making it kept saying they are out of everything and he made his own bowl... did not ask me what I want on it just completely did his own thing...
#2. They “Only Accept Card”.. they simply only do this because they are too lazy to count change and to give you back correct change... I been to almost every chipotle in the state of New Jersey and none of them do this.. only the Clark Location...
#3 They close the restaurant whenever they feel like it. They do not obey the Closing times they have listed online...
#4 The Staff is very rude and always has a Attitude
#5 They are even too lazy to fix the Soda machines. Almost every drink I used at the Soda fountain was just Water...
This Restaurant is a Complete Mess. The Staff is Horrible and Lazy. They need a new manager and crew that actually does their job... I live Walking Distance from this Chipotle and I would rather take the 15 min drive to Menlo Park Mall and go to that one from how Unprofessional the Clark NJ...
Read moreQuite possibly the worst Chipotle I've ever been too. Someone from some corporate arm of Chipotle really needs to go observe this place. It's a disaster. You should see how many potential customers leave the line or don't even bother getting on it. So much lost business.
Went there last night, line out the door. Stood on line for 15 minutes, and moved about 6 inches forward. Had to leave. This was probably the 3rd time I had to leave because the line literally doesn't move.
The employees seem to be living in their own world, without a care and zero motivation to serve customers. If you finally make it to the front of the line, all you get is a sour face and attitude. Last time I went, the person didn't know what tacos were...Tried giving me a bowl lined with a giant burrito tortilla. I thought I was on one of those reality TV shows.
Sometimes there's 4 people working the take out orders, leaving 1 person to deal with the angry mob of customers lined up to the back of the store. Forget proper management, how about common sense?
The only reason I keep going back is because I like Chipotle and keep thinking at some point they've got to get it right.
Chipotle should be ashamed of themselves for letting this location operate the way it does. Shut it down.
P.S. I didn't even mention how unclean this place is. Food all over the floors and tables. Garbage cans overflowing. A health inspector would have a field day...
