It’s rare that you go from enjoying a place to thinking “what am I doing here” . Well that’s happened and it happened to what I thought was one of the better Panda Express locations. My wife ordered in the app (so far so good). I arrive to pick up our order and it’s ready, packaged, and handed to me by an employee (still good). The trouble starts when I get home and check the food. To start off I’m missing a part of the order (more on that later) and the food (which is generally the same quality no matter what) left a ton to be desired. Noodles had a taste like they were sitting out for a while and we were missing an item. I called in to say “hey, missing something can I just get a refund” and I’m told only the manager can do that and he’s gone for the day. So you have a location serving food and no one is really in charge? Maybe that’s normal for the location who am I to judge. I call earlier today to speak with the manager who told me he’d call me back in 5-10 minute. After 30 minutes I decided to call in only for him to tell his employee “I’ll refund them for the missing item”. Now look… I get it.. not the biggest deal in the world. But if you’re a manager worth your weight in anything you should be a little more proactive when it comes to handling customer issues from the day before that couldn’t be handled because you weren’t there. Just my two cents. Staff is friendly it just seems like a problem from the top down. When management take a hands off approach that’s noticed by everyone .I’ll be avoiding this location for the time being. Much better off going to the location in South Plainfield if you’re looking for...

NO FREE SAMPLES I go here during rush hour with a line out the door.. I'll stand there for 10 mins like im thinking about what to order and like everyone that works there doesn't know what I'm going to order... STILL NO FREE SAMPLES ...
not sure what is going on... I thought this was the stores tradition. ill add two stars b/c the food isn't bad.

Read moreI feel like this place takes advantage of people who order through third party companies like Uber eats, door dash, etc. I ordered through Uber eats today around 11:30 (they open at 11) so everything should be fresh. I ordered beef and broccoli and received literally only broccoli and sauce, no meat. I also ordered the chow mein which the noodles were not really noodles, but short almost looked cut in half noodles that were dry. I feel like because you are not there and watching them make your food they skimp you out. Also I ordered 12 cream cheese Rangoon (large order which it even says on the label) and received only 3.
