Panera Bread — Restaurant in Clarksburg

Panera Bread is a great place for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food is fresh and clean. The staff is efficient with your order and can accommodate changes to your order. Parking can be challenging around lunch time because of limited space and a tricky entrance and exit that resembles a game of Frogger. If the bushes in front were removed it would be easier to see the traffic coming when you go to exit. My favorite feature, and I believe is a great trend, is ordering from the app before you go. When you know there will be a line just order a head of time and there is no wait. Even if I'm dining-in I will use this at busy times. As all Paneras have, there is a closed off private area for some peace or to have a meeting. The seating area is clean well maintained. This Panera has a drive through. The first of these that I have seen. This is a good feature too but don't expect fast food speed. This is, after all, casual fast. It doesn't take longer to make a custom salad or sandwich. The only way this could be better is if you could order ahead, using the app, then pick it up at the drive-thru. Currently you still have to walk inside. I believe Ron Shaich would be proud of...

I visit this Panera often and have generally been satisfied with the overall environment. This past visit I was served by an employee with the name tag "Nate the Great", not very aptly named as he did not pour my soup to the fill line on the bowl. Should be named "Nate the Mediocre" or "Nate the Below Average" if you ask me. Other than that my visit was very pleasant, I was greeted by a warm smile and wink from the ever ravishing Ann, a real smokeshow she is and a truly wonderful person. Ann does everything she can to make sure the customer has a pleasurable experience, a fantastic manager from what I can tell. My only other complaint is they ran out of the everything bagels, how do they run out of everything bagels at Panera BREAD? I'm sure Nate the Mediocre is to blame for such a gaff. Overall 4/5 the 4 is due to Ann who is a perfect 10, but I had to subtract one point due to Mr. Mediocre's...

Was here a couple times in the past month and each time left satisfied and happy. The first time I had a rare moment to dine solo and got the iced chai tea latte (always delicious!), and a Pick 2: A margarita flatbread pizza and a Greek salad. Everything was delicious, although I saved most of the pizza for later because I had forgotten the salad came with bread, too. Pizza tasted good cold too BTW. The salad was fresh and crisp, tasted great.

The second time I came back for a promotional free pastry with the purchase of another and my daughter got a flip-flop frosted cookie which she loved and ate every crumb of, and I tried a cranberry-orange muffin. Found out I have a new favorite, so it’s going to be a rough call the next time I have to choose! lol

Friendly employees, great service, delicious food. Nice relaxed atmosphere and they have a pleasant outdoor seating area, too....
