Primanti Bros. Restaurant and Bar — Restaurant in Clarksburg

Usually primanti’s is great. This location however should not exist. First and last time there. To start, walked in and waited for a lengthy amount of time before someone came by. They did not greet us, She just stared at us when we said how many people we had in our party. She just grabbed menus and waved us to follow her, and she sat us down just inside the door. it took a long time again before someone came by to get our orders. Upon ordering food came out quickly, The sandwiches came out before the appetizer. One of them was the wrong one. The other was missing components of it. We were about a quarter of the way finished with our food before the appetizer came out to which the waitress just said why did she bring those first. The sandwiches were room temperature at best and the appetizer was the best thing about the meal, although it was not great The waitress was nice enough, but was not attentive at all. She never came by the check on us. She brought drinks by that we did not need. We still had half full drinks and we already finished Our food. She then just brought our checks and never asked if there’s anything else we wanted or needed. While there we could over hear staff arguing about seating guests. The person who was then acting as the host was bothered by bringing people in. At point a larger party of guests came in and she said oh no I just sat 9 and have 15 coming in I was supposed to leave a half hour ago I don’t have time for this. I personally would have just left Do yourself a favor and never go to this location.weirdest vibes ever at...

If you call and ask what time the kitchen closes, you would think they would tell you last call is at 11:45. Nope. Kitchen is open til midnight. So I was told 3x. We drove 4 HOURS- 4 HOURS folks to walk in and be told last call for the kitchen was 11:45pm. I look at clock on phone- 11:41. Okay we have 3 min to order then- cool. Know what I want. Nope. Kitchens last call was at 11:45…. But it isn’t 11:45 yet…🤷‍♀️ 👌 wow. Thanks for zero customer service to a loyal set of customers who again DROVE 4 HOURs to eat there….. so, what do ya do?? I’ll tell ya- you whip out your phone while walking back to the parking lot and places your order online for curbside. And that’s what we did. 11:47 pm - order accepted. 11:58 pm the chick that told us sorry, kitchen is closed is schlepping our food out the vehicle.

Perfect training moment for anyone who cares- we could Have been a much bigger sale had you served us inside and you would have had a nice fat tip. Instead- you have proven why so many of your restaurants are closing.

Future late night customers, beware. We called 3x to let them know we were on our way and each time we we’re assured they would be able to serve us and the kitchen would be open. The bar closed at 2 so it isn’t like they were shutting down the house.

UPDATE I rated it at 1 star initially simply because of the bait and switch, I changed it to 3 when I was able to use their system to still get the food I wanted DESPITE being told the kitchen...

After working a 12 hour shift, one is tired, hungry and ready to relax. I've been here several times before and had marginal service with mediocre food. This visit ended up being the one that made my decision not to give my hard earned money away to this chain. Sat down to a dirty bar space, however I was addressed quickly, received drink and reviewed menu. After waiting for 15 mins to place a food order , another patron sits down next to me, to yet a still dirty , unwiped bar space, I mean food spillage sticking to the counter and orders a drink. Bartender ignores me, look in my mind, a patron should never have to ask to place an order! So bartender comes back and asks the guy next to me for his food order and starts to walk off, I have to stop and ask if I can place an order as well. Seriously?!? It was very simple order, I mean super simple , how could kitchen bring out the wrong order. Either bartender was completely inept at placing the order , or the food preppers are robots and just don't have any sense of ensuring what goes out of the kitchen is made according to the order placed. Anyway, after another long wait to make it known it came out wrong, food went cold and I lost patience. If there one cardinal sin a restaurant can commit, is letting a customer leave feeling as that they don't matter and hungry. Never again will I patronize this establishment . I'll take my...
