Updated for January 4, 2020: First quests in the door this particular Saturday. After a long review of the menu we ordered and the food came quickly. Server attitude seemed a bit short with us and impatient, like we were holding her up from something. And we were the ONLY two patrons in the restaurant. Food is very tasty, and desert was fantastic using her recommendations. Overall the customer service, despite our attempts to be friendly, we’re mostly just barely professional and rushed. It’s hard to recommend this place over El Rincon or Taqueira Lou Lou, which are just as good.

Usually this place is quite good. But for lunch on 3/30/19 at around 11:45am it was a struggle to get what we ordered. It was still wrong, and incomplete. Had to ask for the refried beans, which are part of the meal, and when they did come they weren’t even warm. Spoke with the manager, got zero satisfaction, and still charged over $35. We went here to eat based on other online reviews. We've had mostly Socal Mexican food so maybe that affects our judgement. The taco salad was OK but really was more like the taco salad you'd get at a Denny's or other type of restaurant. Not at all what I expected. The bean and cheese plate and the enchilada/bean and cheese combo we cold in the center and needed to be returned. The burrito was actually a "wet" burrito so had to use a fork to eat it. We requested guacamole on the side. It was far too creamy. We felt they had added mayo or squeezed it from a bag. It also had no flavor to speak of.

Had lunch here on 8/20 and once again it was a pleasant experience. I've eaten at this location several times and have NEVER had a bad meal. The staff is always friendly, the food is always hot and very tasty, and the prices are a very good value for the portions you get. Try not to get to filled up on the chips and salsa because the portions are good. Our waiter was ahead of the game on drink refills and chip/salsa refills. Looking forward to our next visit.
