SHOGUN JAPANESE STEAKHOUSE — Restaurant in Clarksburg

Ever have a dining experience so bad you ended up having a anxiety attack. Me either till I ate here. I went to eat here at roughly 5ish in the evening. Now me and my date did not want to sit at the grill so we asked for a table. Upon being seated the waitress informed is she was in training. But as the meal progressed I am guessing the whole wait staff including the manager was in training also. After taking are order but the waitress and the manager returned 3 times to correct a mistake or add something they forgot. After the order was corrected this was the last we saw if any wait staff willing to help us. After ordering my date got her sushi within 20 mins while I sat and waited for my steak meal for over an hour appetizer we ordered did not make it to the table either. All while I sat there with an empty cup and asked wait staff sever times if I could get another glass though no one did. Now that my meal has arrived I quickly noticed that even though I asked for no vegetables in my rice and none on my plate there where vegetables in every bit of my meal. Oh well I suffered through them fine by me but I would like some sauce with my steak waiting 10 mins to see if are waitress would return to ask for sauce when she did not I went and asked a waitress, again waited 10 mins and went and asked the manager who then gave me attitude and very aggressively said I will get someone to get it for you. After waiting 10 more min I just went ahead and ate my meal. Now to wait for the check during this time i was so angry at the dining experience i ended up having an anxiety attack having to have my date calm me down after 10 or 15 mins or so of waiting for the check my date took it into her own hands to get the check from the manager who gave her attitude about asking for the check. This is where I departed to return to my truck to calm down my date now holding my card waiting for someone to come collect it from her. While worried about me now gets up and approaches the manager again' the manager giving my date attitude when she ask if she can hand paying the check says she is to busy and pawns here of on a gentleman who apologized that she had to seek someone to handle the check that they where not expecting this many people the day before valentine's day and was under staffed.

Total dinning experience 2 hours and 10mins of hell. But good news is I now have an appointment with the VA to deal with an axitety issue that I was only made aware...

To the woman who says her son's birthday party was ruined because her server Tracy brought the bill and the boxes right after the cook left this one's for you. This is your server or should I say was your server this is Tracy. I did to you what I do to every table I've ever had. I have worked there for three and a half years and you were the only table in my whole experience at Shogun who complained about me setting boxes to the side and asking if they were going to have deserts and generally taking care of the table. I apologized to you many times over and you were very rude and unresponsive. I told you I would take the boxes away and you said no forget about it. And you're complaining about the free desserts each person received to try and make you happy. Everyone got a free dessert and then 2 days later you called Shogun asking for a full refund. Sounds to me like you were just looking for a reason to not tip. You were a terrible customer and I pray you never come back so other girls don't have to go through the pain of waiting on you. And as for Misty she was right when she give you free desserts and when you left you were okay with it why would you call 2 days later and ask for a full refund that's so greedy. We did everything we could to try to make you have a better experience there you just weren't having it. It was as hard to get along with you as it is to get along with a pissed-off rattlesnake. You would not accept my apology and you would not work with me you are just mean and if I had to deal with people who treat me the way that you treated me I would cry everyday. You should be ashamed of yourself and I'm sure your whole family was embarrassed by...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Shogun Japanese Steakhouse and was blown away by the quality of food and exceptional service provided by our server, Taylor. I ordered the spicy tuna roll and sushi platter, and I must say, the flavors were incredible. The sushi platter was fresh and expertly prepared, and the spicy tuna roll had just the right amount of heat.

But what really stood out to me was the level of service provided by Taylor. From the moment we sat down, she greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel right at home. She was incredibly attentive throughout the meal, always checking in to ensure that we had everything we needed and that our meal was enjoyable.

The restaurant itself was beautifully decorated and had a cozy atmosphere, making it the perfect spot for a night out with friends. I would highly recommend Shogun Japanese Steakhouse to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience.
