Quay — Restaurant in Clarkston

We came in for Sunday brunch around noon. We were seated and provided menus and water, but not asked if we wanted anything else to drink. Fifteen minutes later our server came to the table and we ordered drinks and breakfast. The drinks came quickly, (kudos) but when our meals were delivered, my ‘eggs over easy’ were cooked solid, the bacon I ordered (with biscuits and gravy) came as two links of sausage. The gravy on the B&G was flavorless…the biscuits were good. My wife’s meal included hash browns… and in what may be a first, the HBs had been deep fried. Too crunchy to eat with a fork and setting in a puddle of grease. The waitress did the right thing and comped our meals, but it will still be a long time...

went in a week ago and the food was very low standards. I didn’t say anything because I don’t like writing reviews. Rachelle was our server and she was amazing. She really did try to accommodate without pushing me. I decided the service from her was exceptional so I tried again. The next time was worse than the first time. Is it really that difficult to make a steak? I just can’t comprehend how an establishment with poor food only gives out a free desert and nothing else. Arrived with a friend Monday afternoon before closing and we had received very poor service. We were sat down and it took a very long time for out waiter to take our order, but when they finally showed up we were rushed into ordering. Once our order was finally taken, it took longer for our food to come out. By the time our food arrived it has been clearly sitting out for a long time since it was cold, yet also overcooked. While we were there, we also witnessed a waitress being suspicious and drinking what we assumed was alcohol on the clock.
