My family loves Mexican food and go out for it regularly on our travels. This trip was a work trip and we decided to go here on a whim and boy was it a slam dunk of a Win! Delicious food, I'd say the best looking menu I've ever seen at a restaurant too. Tons of vivid pictures of the food to make it easier to know what you are getting. The margaritas were delicious and the salsa was some of the tastiest I've had for coming free with chips. Price is where I'd expect it to be, and the atmosphere was fun and friendly. We will definitely be back.

Being from the Sonora desert, i have found it difficult to locate authentic Mexican cooking, but this place has come the closest since that little Taqueria on Ft. Campbell Blvd. closed. This restaurant has two locations, one at Two Rivers and the other behind Walgreens at Trenton and Wilma. They're both wonderful for dining (and for margaritas!) although the one at Two Rivers is quite busy in the evenings... but if you must know, the one on Wilma truly is my favored location😉

Always a great place to go for some great food. Service depends on who you get, but generally it's really good. There's a shorter server who has gotten progressively worse, and seems very cocky. The other servers are good and take the time to be sure your food and drinks are good. Last time I came on my birthday with a large group and they almost lost our business for good when they asked if I'd called ahead. I said I had 12 and they made accommodations, which was pretty cool.

I went to this place while traveling through because of its high rating and reviews. Let’s just say they are a lie. From the moment I walked into the place, the clientele in there looked trashy and ghetto. After getting a table, I noticed all the waitresses were white there. When it comes to Mexican food, usually that’s an iffy sign unless it’s Tex mex. the waitress we got was extremely rude and emotionless. She didn’t ever bring refills or ask if things were right. She literally just dropped the food on the table and said here and walked away without asking if we needed anything. The food was so bad I didn’t even think I could finish it. The enchilada sauce looked and tasted like it came out of a can. The “ large “ quesadilla you pay extra for is smaller than even a basic quesadilla at Taco Bell. Totally misleading. The enchiladas were also very thin and barely stuffed. Also, the quesadilla was very cheap tasting and feeling and basic. The steak in their fajitas were the only thing edbible, but I wouldn’t say it was booming with flavor. Honestly this place isn’t the worst place on earth, I feel like I’ve been a bit harsh and I’m sure there are some quality service staff and maybe some people will like the food.... for the price. The only thing going for this place is the food prices. If you’re on a budget and want the sit down Mexican restaurant experience and not Taco Bell, then this is the place. The prices are actually great, but the food quality and staff definitely isn’t 4.5 stars like google says. Most of the people in their eating and probably reviewing this place don’t eat Mexican food much, probably have never been to Mexico, and aren’t very cultured or don’t travel much. Most of the customers I saw look like the “build the wall” types and only care about cheap greasy food and margarita deals... won’t...

Update 12/6/23 I will not return to this restaurant again! The food quality has been going down over the years. Now it just does not have any flavor. I had to add salt/pepper/and or hot sauce to everything. ALL THE FOOD WAS BLAND. No real effort was put into making these meals. The restaurant was dirty. Example there was a spill covered with paper towels on the floor prior to me being sat down. Those paper towels were on the floor for almost my entire stay, staff just walked around it. There was also papers and trash on the floor on other side of dining are near bar. Food prices - no issue Portion sizes - no issue Overall food quality is 1. Cleanliness 1 Friendliness of staff 3 That is unacceptable for a restaurant that has been in business for over 20 years. There are too many options on Wilma Rudolph. After several visits with less than mediocre food/cleanliness/service I can no longer recommend this restaurant. Visit other Mexican restaurants (or food trucks) on the same street.

Was greeted and seated immediately after arriving - no wait time. Ordered the Molcajete - contained shrimp, chicken, steak with green onions, sliced cactus leaf, and tomato in a red sauce with a side of rice and beans and tortillas. My meal was huge. My friend and I shared the meal along with the chips and salsa and I still had some leftover to take home. Flavor of food was very good. Salsa was pretty much tomatoes so I asked for the spicier salsa which they quickly brought. To drink we each had the Horchata which was super delicious. Only negative I have is that it was really dark in there I had a hard time reading the menu but that could just be me. Decor is festive and Spanish music playing on the background was nice, loud enough to hear but low enough to have conversation without speaking loud. Will...
