My recent dining experience at Fujiyama, a Japanese and sushi restaurant, was mostly delightful with a few minor hiccups.
Let's start with the highlight of the evening – the sushi. It was, without a doubt, very, very good. The flavors were fresh and vibrant, and the portions were satisfyingly filling. I couldn't get enough of the sushi, and it's certainly a reason to visit Fujiyama.
However, the mochi we ordered didn't quite live up to our expectations. It fell short of the high standards set by the sushi. While it wasn't terrible, it just didn't hit the mark for us.
What really stood out, though, was the staff's kindness and friendliness. Their warm hospitality added to the overall positive experience. They were attentive and made us feel welcome throughout our meal.
Fujiyama is a great spot for sushi enthusiasts, offering top-notch sushi and friendly service. While the mochi left something to be desired, the overall dining experience was enjoyable. I would definitely return for the sushi, and I appreciate the staff's welcoming demeanor. 🍣👍🏼 #SushiLovers...
Read moreI wish I could write a review that could do Fujiyama justice. The idea of sushi has always sounded horrid to me until I decided to give it a try, and Fujiyama was my first. Since then I’ve tried 3 other places and have yet to find a roll that tastes anywhere near as good, anywhere near the price, and the quality of service that this place has. Fujiyama has the best sushi (and teriyaki sauce), the best prices, and the absolute best service. The cashiers are always extremely nice, the sushi chefs are top notch (and care about presentation), in the near fifty times that I’ve been here I think I’ve had one slightly negative experience that anyone else would think is fine, I’ve just been spoiled by the typical perfection. I’m disappointed that I can’t get my favorite waitresses foreign name spelled correctly so I can’t give her her flowers, but she is the greatest server I have ever had and genuinely cares about her guests. I’m moving soon, and honestly Fujiyama will be the only singular that I miss about the city of Clarksville. P.S. the spicy crab...
Read moreI’m appalled by the 4 reviews this restaurant has. This is the best sushi Clarksville has to offer. This is a hidden gem.
First of all the ambiance comes at you as a family friendly, family oriented establishment. Don’t let that turn you down because they have Sapporo...in 2XL, just let the spouse know, or your significant other that he/she’s driving.
Secondly, the sushi is underrated. By far the sushi blows all establishments away. The sushi is less Americanized and more traditional with a pacific rim flare. They don’t do boats, but if you order a lot expect a spinning clear platter, loosen your belt buckle and let the acquired taste of raw fish open your pallet. The oyster shooters will lead you to a food-gasm. For the “foodies” fatty tuna=toro, they have it! The old man behind the roll station is a sushi wizard.
The staff, you cannot beat. Friendly, fast, and always with a smile even behind a mask.
Don’t waste your time at the other establishments, this is the go to. Plus liquor store next door that closes at 1050pm, you...
