I wish I could give it a zero. This place is horrible. I have been here twice and will go out of my way to NEVER come to this location again. The 1st time I came was about 2 weeks ago. I was rushed through my order at the drive-thru to the point of the employee finishing my sentences. Then when I got to the window, they forgot to charge me for my hashbrown for the combo I ordered. Then when I asked about it, they wanted me to pay for them inconveniencing me. The manager was no help and not accommodating. It is bad enough, I was rushed through my order and then they got it wrong.
I came back today. Put in my lunch order and asked for a number 1. I stated I wanted to make it a combo, the sarcastic employee stated, "it already is a combo". I proceeded to complete my order with my choice of side and drink and asked for a caramel machiato and a shot of espresso. Again the sarcastic employee, "you know it already comes with espresso, is that all". So to avoid me blowing up, I said it was. Drove to the window to pay for my order. The amount on the screen was different when I got to the window. When I asked why the difference wasn't made for the cost for the order, none was given. I was asked to wait at the window for an extended amount of time after paying and then when they did come back I was given my drink and told thank you. I had to ask for my food. It was never given to me. They have no customer service nor do they care about having any. Never again. Today...
Read moreI often stop for a late breakfast or lunch here when I go to visit my mom at her senior living community. My first career was in customer satisfaction, and I’ve always felt Tim Horton stores do a good job in this respect. However, maybe things are changing. I just ordered a cheese panini and a British breakfast tea. I had to convince the young man taking my order, who I’m guessing is a new employee, that Tim Hortons offers British Breakfast tea. No problem, he’ll learn. But the person who brought my cheese panini to the window gave me the most surly look—like he wished I would drop dead—when I sincerely said thank you. I was a waitress all through college. One thing I learned quickly is responding pleasantly to an understanding customer is both easy and lucrative. Plus it can make you feel better about a job you may not like doing. I don’t normally write reviews and when I do they’re generally positive. Someone needs to help this young man understand the basics of customer service. He has an excellent model working his shift today, a gentleman more my age (who’s waited on me before), who did not witness this interaction, but who I suspect would have been as appalled as I was. Rudeness makes an impact. While the food satisfied my hunger, the exchange w/this employee was a cloud in an otherwise...
Read moreThis is my usual go-to Tim's for coffee before work. Side note- 7/10 times I would not get the right blend of coffee that I asked for but that's not what this review is about. I received a Tim Hortons gift card from the holidays that I would use at this location. Each time I would use my gift card, the employee at the drive-thru tells me my remaining balance. One of the last times that I used my card, I was told I had $14 remaining balance. Well, went again before work and found it odd that the drive-thru employee kept my card with him for longer than usual and didn't hand it back until after he made the coffee. I thought he forgot he had the card actually but then he handed it back. Also, he didn't mention the balance remaining on the card. Well long story short I just got back from running to a different location where they told me I had no balance on my gift card. So I called the gift card line to find out there is in fact NO balance on the card. And the customer service agent listed off the charges on the card- two charges at this location that were definitely higher than what I ever spend at Tim's. Can't wait to call corporate and tell them about their employees at this location literally stealing my money! From now on I'm going to drive out of the way to go to a...
