The manager Tory is one of the worst managers or even low level employee I have ever encountered. She assumes and treats customers as if theyâre poor and donât have the money to go elsewhere, which entitles her to say and act hateful towards customers because of their desperate need to have a product. That wasnât the case with us we liked a table they had, we had been looking elsewhere for some time and went back-and-forth on whether to actually go to this store to get it. we did and it was a mistake simply because of her. She is rude. I would never recommend this store I would never use this store ever again. My daughter passed away 1 month prior to us buying a table and chairs, which were simply $24 a week from the store. My life has been chaotic ever since this tragedy. We are having to raise her four-year-old child, as well as plan her service and just try to heal emotionally. While calling to simply find out why my balance was the amount it was this so-called manager made a comment that was morally and ethically rude and uncalled for. In spite of the fact that for over a week I tried to get a hold of the store but continually was receiving a message âthis phone number is disconnectedâ and when I do get through a man telling me he canât get into the computer system because itâs down.    Read moreRent a center in Clayton has damaged my mailbox, I discussed the issue with the store manager who agreed they were responsible for the damage. However, I have gotten the run around on any information regarding the situation.
The issue was reported to the customer service department after the store level dropped the ball on any kind of help. Again, got sent on another wild goose chase over something that is as simple as a solution to this problem.
This occurred on the 25th of October 2021, and still have no resolve and no mailbox.
I have contacted that number provided in the response multiple times to no avail. It is quite apparent that this issue is being avoided.
** Update Rent-A-Center has since come back out to my house and knocked over my mailbox AGAIN after I replaced it myself, and then I gave them the opportunity to make it right again in which they did not.
I think businesses like this who go around damaging the property of the residents who live there and hold no accountability to themselves or responsibility in their actions should be boycotted and pushed out of our area. I work hard for my money that I have to pay for the things that I need to provide. Then to have this big company come by and destroy the things I've worked so hard for and show so much disregard for the situation is repulsive!

   Read moreI normally donât leave detailed reviews but this warrants one. My dad became unexpectedly ill and needed an electric recliner for comfort. I messaged RentACenter in Clayton late on a Sunday night, first thing Monday morning I received a phone call from Yahaira who made it happen same day!!! Not only was she sympathetic and caring toward my fatherâs needs, she made us feel like we were her most important customers. I was able to easily reach her with any questions and I felt like she genuinely wanted to help us during this difficult time. She went above and beyond to make sure the recliner was delivered with care especially during COVID. The young man who delivered it took the time to teach my elderly father how to use the chair and answer any questions while maintaining proper social distancing and using PPE to keep my immunocompromised dad safe. My father was able to get out of bed and spend time with family in the living room while remaining comfortable.
