First, let me start by saying that I came through a little under a week ago and my order was burnt really badly. When I say burnt, I do mean burnt beyond Edible. So I called the manager Ebony, and she told me that I could come and get the older replaced no problem. She would write my name in a book and I let her know I would not be able to come in until This week. So I went in to get my order replaced and of course Ebony did not write my name or order down. I would have figured that the management would be more organized than this. But that’s not the reason I’m leaving the bad review. The manager, DAVID (i’m going to describe him for corporate and owner purposes in case there’s another David there.) He is average height, average build extremely dark skins, but not of the black culture. Maybe, possibly Haitian. This is a manager that I’ve dealt with directly, and when I was explaining what happens and what I ordered a young man who works with him very respectfully, asked me if I was the one who called yesterday. As the young man asked me this, DAVID with one of the most disgusting tone of voice said to the young man to shut up and be quiet when he is talking to customers right in front of me. For a moment, I thought it was a joke and they might have a relationship like that, but the young man looked at him and said are you serious? And DAVID once again said to him, be quiet and don’t speak. At that point I could care less about my food, and truly wanted to find out who this young man is and call his mother to make her aware of how DAVID treats his employees. I asked DAVID myself who died and made you God to speak to that young man that way, and he said to me, would I like to get my food or not? It has been made clear at that point I wasn’t getting my food until Ebony got back. So my reply to him was I would make it my mission to see that he is removed from his position. Read moreCame in to order a 16 piece family meal and some extra. Was never told up front that there was a wait for the food. It wasn’t until my husband went back up to ask to substitute a side in one of our orders that we found out they were out of chicken and it was a 30 minute wait. We told them it was fine. After 30 minutes I asked one of the workers how much longer because we weren’t told in the beginning that they were out of chicken and I wouldn’t have ordered so much food if that was the case. I was told at that time about 5 more minutes, but the young lady was very sweet and apologized so I told her it’s fine, we will wait a few more minutes. The whole time while sitting there, I could hear the manager from the back telling the cashier to make sure to let everyone know that there is a wait time and I could hear her using profanity. After an hour of waiting, I asked the cashier if I could just get a refund. He said he had to get the manager but she would be up. I continued to wait and the cashier said he would go check and I could hear her telling them that we have to wait because she’s busy. She finally came up and I asked if I can get a refund. Her response was yeah, that’s fine. I would expect as a manager to at least have friendly customer service and address the customer with an apology for the wait time. All she did was hand me the receipt and continued with her conversation on the phone. This location needs better management especially in these situations. Read moreDear Cornel. I had a really bad day and hadn’t eaten all day. So I stopped by your chicken spot. I came in and wanted a to order chicken. Sierra at the register was amazing and help me with a smile and a joke. She was amazing. I wanted to substitute an item and she helped me with no hesitation. The manager heard me telling her how much I appreciate it being nice after having had a really rough day. Sean was amazing. He heard me telling her how bad of a day I was having and Came over to give me a dessert. Told me to have a better day and he understand about the small things mean a lot at times. He was amazing.
I came back today to get something else after not having the state of mind to deal with most these restaurant and they would rather die than help you. Shawn was front and center with a smile and great attitude. He was very helpful again with my order. This place is run right with the right people. This is my new go to. And I am a vegetarian Thanks. I hope the staff gets a good word from the home office and made something special for them going...
