Burger King — Restaurant in Clayton

This location offers dining inside and outside. Plenty of free parking, handicapped accessible and a lot of seating inside & outside. (They were having burner issues, but they had signs plainly posted everywhere warning guests in advance that they may experience a wait.) The food was actually served pretty fast and the order was hot, fresh and prepared correctly to request. Unlike other restaurants, they seemed to have a lot of staff, maybe more than even needed… because two of the employees (one managerial lady serving, cleaning behind the counter, etc… and one young man working on removing trash from cans and waiting on counter, etc) they seemed to be doing everything by them selves. (It would have been great if some of the other staff standing around would have helped them and done some front house cleaning) This location has a friendly staff and I cannot stress enough how amazingly they decorate for the holidays. They really seem to be a welcoming, community oriented business. At Christmas they have a professional paint beautiful pictures on the glass throughout the building. They also decorate inside the restaurant. For Fourth of July they took the red, white and blue theme and followed it on doors, wall, the front table, etc…

The negative would be that honestly the restaurant really needs a good deep and surface cleaning. Every table inside and outside was dirty, the floors were dirty with visible trash under all tables, the bathrooms (our party had male and female guests so they used both bathrooms) were extremely dirty, smelled dirty, wreaking of urine, dirty toilets, dirty sinks, dirty doors and had almost no toilet paper and no hand towels. For lack of a better word, disgusting. After letting them know about the paper and towels, they advised that they had been running very low on both paper and towels for a while. This restaurant is always nice and clean, which I love. The food, as far as fast food goes, is good, too. The staff in the drive-thru, where I mainly go, has always been friendly. My only real problem is they can't seem to get orders accurate. I order the same thing every time - a ham, egg and cheese criossandwich or biscuits and gravy. The biscuits and gravy are delicious - just make sure you ask for extra gravy! But the criossandwich is never right! I either get egg and cheese, NO ham, or I get egg, cheese and sausage (which I hate!), or some other combo that I did NOT order. The other day I ordered my favorite sandwich again...and this time I clearly said HAM, EGG & CHEESE..please do NOT put sausage on it! When I got to work and opened the wrapper, I had egg, cheese, ham AND sausage! So frustrating! I try to check my order before I leave the line but it's not always easy to do if there are a lot of cars behind me and I am on my way to work and don't alway shave time to stop and go in and wait to...

I normally get a good meal....well tonight I did not. I went thru the drive thru and ordered two different orders. The guy at the window had his EarPods in his ears the entire time. When he handed a tray out the window for the money I said this is for the first one (a card) and this is for the second one (cash). He just looked at me then finally took his EarPod out of one ear then put it right back in after I repeated myself. He handed me my recipe with the card I said thank you he never looked up at me once. I was about to drive off and it looked like a manager reached around him and said here’s your double cheeseburger. I would have never gotten it if the manger (I guess) had not given it to me. Then when I got home my fryers were cold and my burger was hard. Not sure if...
