Clementine's Naughty & Nice Ice Cream — Restaurant in Clayton

This was my first time at the Clayton location. All of my other visits have been to the Lafayette Square location. This location was very nice as well, and the employees were quite friendly. It was quite clean and did an excellent job with their COVID-19 precautions.

I ordered the Gooey Butter Cake Ice Cream--OF COURSE--and the Italian Butter Cookie Ice Cream. As always, the Gooey Butter Cake Ice Cream was extremely flavorful. The ice cream is so sweet and creamy, and the gooey butter cake chunks are outstanding. Frankly, I want to try their gooey butter cake by itself, but that is another story. This was my first time ordering the Italian Butter Cookie Ice Cream, and it was also very good. It had a great Biscoff taste, and I loved how the Italian butter cookie pieces were perfectly and uniformly blended throughout.

My only complaint about this visit was that some bites of the ice cream had an icy taste. That is why it did not receive 5.0 stars. While this location is great, the Lafayette Square location is more convenient to me geographically. I am not sure when I will be back here; but, if I am in the neighborhood again, I absolutely...

My family and I just bought 4 ice creams cones from Clementine’s and we were terribly disappointed with the customer service. We were not told that there was a limit of 3 samples per person until after we started sharing samples so we all didn’t request the same ones and waste plastic spoons. The nice thing was that they used metal spoons which I commend them for. But when I asked to just try one more flavor, they completely refused and said it was their owner’s policy to not give more than 3 samples per person due to loss of business. With this policy, unfortunately they have lost any future business from us. If we were told from the beginning that there was a limit, we would have been more thoughtful in what we tried. We literally stumbled across this place while roaming around St. Louis. I had just finished saying, "I could really use some ice cream right now" when, boom, there was Clementine's! 😍

After looking at the delicious menu I was befuddled. How could I possibly choose?! I wanted a spoonful of every flavor. (Hmm, clever tasting idea, Clementine!)

The woman at the counter helped me decide on Salted Caramel and Butter Cake. The Butter Cake was out of sight!! Huge chunks of gooey cake that blew my mind. More please! 🔥

The Salted Caramel was ok but a little too salty for my liking. I opted for a birthday cake waffle cone, honey whipped cream and I even got a lip balm.
