This was truly worth the wait to try. I was told each order came with 1 white sauce and I was given extra at the top of the bag. Got home to find out I only had 2 white sauces total for the 4 orders I brought home. I enjoyed this first order (Salmon and Shrimp Hibachi) so much, I am not even gonna dock them in my rating for it. I look forward to trying the chicken & shrimp Hibachi for dinner later. Although the sauce is really really good and I wish I had more, this food does not need it. Pricing is pretty reasonable for the portion and quality you get coming off of a food truck vs a full fledge kitchen. Those of you seeing these Hibachi Restaurant prices should not expect those same large quantities. It is a good quantity, in my opinion. Just not THAT large. The quality makes up for it, to me. Well worth the wait, and they will see my wife and I again. My wife, speaking of which, got the Lamb Chop Alfredo and the Salmon & Shrimp Hibachi. She sampled and enjoyed both, favoring...
Read moreI tried this place because Keith Lee said the hibachi was great, and hibachi is one of my FAVORITE foods. Man-was I disappointed. It did not taste anything like hibachi. It tasted like some garlic chicken, with rice that had a strange flavor-it wasn’t hibachi flavor. The chicken was also dry, and just overall not HIBACHI. If anything it was over seasoned chicken and rice for $60. This just goes to show you cannot trust all influencers opinions. It is way overhyped. If you want good hibachi or sushi, I recommend Sushi Iwa in Clayton. He gave a worse review to Cookout which is far better than this, and that’s a fast food joint. My boyfriend even tried it and was very disappointed as we splurged on this meal for a date night out, and it was subpar. Very disappointed in Keith Lee over the cook here....
Read moreI tried Hibachi Papi and overall, it was a decent experience. I had the hibachi salmon and shrimp, as well as the hibachi steak. The salmon portion was a good size, but it had a slightly fishy taste and wasn’t as good as I expected. I only received five shrimp, which felt a bit skimpy, and while the steak was tasty, the portion was also on the smaller side. For the price, I expected a bit more food, and the dishes were a little salty for my taste.
On a positive note, my husband and daughter had the hibachi shrimp and really enjoyed it. The flavors overall were solid, and the atmosphere was pleasant. There’s definitely room for improvement with portion sizes, seasoning, and quality, but it’s not a bad spot if you’re...
