Wendy's — Restaurant in Clayton

The worst Wendy's I've ever seen. I like going to Wendy's for fast food because the kids will eat it and I have options instead of a typical fast food meal. This Wendy's has always been dirty with flies buzzing around. We've kept going back out of convenience but not anymore. Time before last we went and I ordered my usual- chili, baked potato and side salad. At register was told they were out of chili so I got a grilled chicken sandwich instead. Then while waiting for food, I was told they were out of potatoes so I said alright, I guess I'll take fries. And, the guy working started putting chicken on my side salad and said they'll be an upcharge. I had to explain that I ordered a chicken sandwich because they were out of chili and wanted my side salad like it comes. I never used the words "chicken" and "salad" in the same sentence. Then, in trying to get ketchup for the kids' at the always disgusting drinks/condiments area, the ketchup pumps were empty. So I went back to the counter to be told, "we're out of ketchup". How does Wendy's run out of ketchup? I asked for the drive thru packets and the guy said all he can give me is 2 and showed me that he had about 8 more for the rest of the night. Gave them another chance on a random Thursday night, 9/21/17. I ordered my usual- chili, potato, side salad. Well, out of potatoes again. Then we waited 15-20 for our food. But we were the lucky ones, others that ordered before we got our food were still waiting for theirs after we finished eating and were leaving. Oh, and the men's restroom had no soap. Just left Wendys ,haven’t been in awhile but tonight decided to stop by grab food for child and I . Asked for things in this order : I need a Jr bacon 6piece spicy nugget spicy chicken sandwich just the sandwich and a med strawberry lemonade and a med coke employee say 19.00 (not sure the change) and proceeded to say “she shoulda got a biggie bag 😳 so I’m like I thought fast food suppose to tell you hey you can the biggie bag cheaper etc .Get to the window and it’s Ms.Minnie(which was shocking when it’s HER STORE) again she say total ..I said let me get the biggie bag you was just talking bout she had the craziest look on her face and said you want me to clear this whole order I said yes mam’ smh she comes back to the window with another total of 17.00 and some change so I ask what did you do if I want the biggie bag that’s $5 smhhh so she then takes everything out of the bag the 6piece spicy and gave me 4piece and not with the drink of coke new total is 11.84 got my change of 8.16 back without no receipt I asked and another employee grab a ticket she say that’s not hers and started typing things so I’m like how did I get the total of 11.84 without you printing ….only shows how that stealing out of them registers be the own mgrs in these stores . Always have a terrible time dealing with the incompetent fools that work here. I used to work at this location in 2012. ITS NOT THAT HARD to inform guests that you are out of a certain item at the speaker. Instead when i get to the window the girl tells me they are out of [the 2nd item in my order]. Then she proceeds to COMPLETELY FORGET MY ORIGINAL ORDER. She then asks me if i want the number 8 combo. (Which i had asked for at the speaker. Then. . She proceeds to tell me my total is $19. A number 8 is $19?!!! Since when?! So again i ask for ONE number 8 combo.. every time i give these shleps my money, they fail to complete the SIMPLEST of tasks.. the management has ALWAYS been poor. The employees have ZERO RESPECT for their customers, and obviously do not know how to handle problems. Also, they fail to understand the basic skills required to operate a rush flow. One time i literally waited in the drive thru for 45 MINUTES..just for them to screw up my order.. the blonde/red/ and or brunette manager has been there for years and every time i see her she is not working to help the customers at all.
