Felice Italian Pork Store and Deli — Restaurant in Clearwater

Love, love, love Felice's Italian Deli. Located in Palm Harbor hiding behind a Bob Evens, Felice is like opening a time capsule from the 70's. The smell of Brooklyn is everywhere from the incredible Italian meats to the old school decor, Felice is an endangered species not to be found in this area. You would have to go to Mazzaro's in St. Pete to find such a jewel.

What adds to the characteristic old world charm are the folks that man the counter. The owner mans the slicer and dishes out some of the best hoagies you have ever had. Anything from the Fellces's Special which includes Proscuitto, Fresh Mozzarella, roasted peppers, tomatoes, basil and olive oil to the The Godfather which has Genoa​ salami, cappicola, pepperoni, mortadella & provolone, lettuce, tomatoes, and Italian Dressing.

I've been trying to give up pork since my wife is vegan and settled for the Michelangelo which has homemade roast beef with your choice of cheese, lettuce, tomato and russian dressing. I ditched the russian dressing in favor of mayo and asked for the traditional hard roll. A note about the roll, it is hard, damn hard. If you're older, like me, you might want to be a little careful how you bite, teeth can be lost biting down. They are very chewy and add such texture to the sandwich, getting a soft roll would spoil the experience. At least my dentist approves, he always recommends Felice.

In addition to hoagies, they have a full salad bar and prepared Italian delights to take home and heat up. Before you leave, make sure you grab a few cannolli's for later. Sorry, no cheap Godfather jokes in this review. Mangia!

Update: Stopped in today for a Manhattan which is Turkey and Roast Beef. I didn't read every ingredient that went into the hoagie including the Dejaniase dressing which was mostly mustard, Really doesn't go well with Turkey and ROast Beef, Mayo would have...

I stopped over to see my friends over here at Felice Gourmet Deli. I was so excited to see Felice and Gabby and the rest of the family.I Haven't been in for a while. Didn't feel like cooking so going to Felice makes dinner easy. Tried one of felices delicious giant meatball with fresh crispy Italian bread. The meatball in the sauce was Awesome I made a small salad and then I had one of the delicious fresh pastries with ricotta cheese What an awesome meal. Felice has been there for over 40 years. I never expected to see him there working.. Of course he has a lot of help from his family But he's still crazy as ever. It was so nice to walk into a beautiful Italian store. It's such a treat just to go there and look at all the beautiful food in the case. They work so hard there to keep everything just perfect. They have everything you need . His own line of fresh products as well as Mama Felice's homemade sauces. There's a meat case and a deli section. a pastry section He's got everything you can think of.. 🤣 Felices can make it look like you've been cooking all day 🍅🍆🧄and all you have to do is warm it up. I just had a gathering for my mom who recently passed away from cancer and I needed a good place to cater from that makes good Italian food. I was only able to take my mom here once before she passed away and she loved the food just as much as I do! I called them and I was able to talk to Gabby about the questions that I had in regards to the type of food I wanted and how much I would need. She was so nice and was really helpful and answered all of my questions and more. I placed my order with Bob I believe and he was so helpful. The day finally came and they were so nice and called me an hour before the food was to be delivered to the house to make sure that the order was still correct and that they had the correct information. I really appreciated that. The food finally arrived and everyone, family and friends all loved the food so much they kept talking about it all night long! I really appreciate the service from Felice Italian Pork Store and Deli! You guys did an outstanding job and I'm very appreciative of each and everyone of you who helped make this part of my mom's gathering even more special! I can't wait to visit you guys again soon along with the rest of my family...
