It's subway, so I don't expect much, but the two guys working tonight were rude and impatient. My kids and I came in, the guy behind the counter immediately asked "how many sandwiches?" I answered "hi, how are you?" He said "good, how many sandwiches?" I told him we weren't sure. So, I'm asking my littles what everybody was having and another guy walks over and asks what we're having. At that point, all I knew was 1 sandwich, so I ordered it, since they seemed so rushed they needed to interrupt me trying to get everybody's order ready. "What kind of bread" He says. "White" I answer as he interrupts me to name off the different breads, apparently I didn't answer quick enough. "And the other 2?"
At this point we had been in the door no longer than 2 minutes, there was nobody else in the store and I still hadn't had a chance to ask my other two kids what they were having because this second guy seemed to think he should just talk over me, constantly.
So, I tell him he can get the first one started but we're still trying to figure everything out. He started complaining to himself, loud enough for me to hear "its a lot easier to set the bread up first then make the sandwiches, but ok" Honestly, that does sound like it would be a lot easier and make a lot more sense, if I could have gotten just a minute to get everybody's order, I would have loved to make it all easier on them.
While he made the first sandwich (6 inch meatball with no cheese or toppings and lite sauce) I got the other 3 (not 2) sandwiches figured out and ordered. Now we're rolling. We got meat and cheese on bread, 2 sandwiches in the toaster and my daughters veggie ready for toppings. I ask her what she wants on it and she says she doesn't want the cheese. I asked the guys if they could throw her cheese on mine? "Sure". By now, another guy had walked in behind us. We finish dressing the sandwiches and go to pay. Super impatient guy tells no hello guy there's double cheese on my sandwich. I corrected him, they charged me for extra cheese anyway, which is ridiculous. I think super impatient guy started to realize how rude he had been because he decided to pull out old toys for my kids, which was nice, but they also charged me for the cookie and never gave me the drink that should have come with my kids meal. Over all,...
Read moreHello, I’m here to report a complaint at the 2790-A Gulf to Bay Blvd, Clearwater, FL 33759 location
Today, Wednesday March 13th around 12pm my fiancé and I made an order through uber eats after half hour I got my order but it was completely messed up, they added stuff I never asked for so I called the location I made the order from and a guy answered me, he gave no attention to me on the phone and was giving me attitude and when I told him “you guys added stuff to my salad I never asked for” he hung up the phone on me, I called again and another man answered and my fiancé told him it was rude to Hang up the phone on customers like that, the guy answered and said “sorry were busy, what’s wrong with your order?” We explained and the guy said “send the order back and we will fix it” I asked him “how can I send it back through uber eats” and he just hung up again. We decided to drive to the location to fix the order, we noticed it was busy and we also noticed that the 3 employees which it was 2 men and a lady, they were also rude to the other customers and had no patience. One of the guys asked us what did we want and I told him I was the person he hung up on and he said “ok, we will fix your salad” with attitude! After he remade my salad, I got to the register and the lady told us we need to pay, I told her we already paid through uber eats and she literally said back to me “ok, shoo, you can go now?” I said “excuse me?” She said “don’t you have your food now? You can leave!” I told her she was rude and I needed to speak to a manager and she said there is no manager in today and I said ok call them, she said you need to get out, now, meanwhile the 2 men were calling my fiancé names and they were telling him they can’t understand what he’s saying since he had an accent which to me that was very racist and rude! I honestly do not recommend this location and it needs to either fire their employees or have that place shut down! I have never had such bad experience with subway I always order food from subway and this location was the worst! I need this complaint to go out to the corporate and I need something done to these employees because my fiancé and I were humiliated in front of everyone when we did not do...
Read moreAside from a few sandwich artists that care about the customer, most of my experiences at this location have been poor. Most of the time when I arrive to pick up an order I placed on the app, the sandwich hasn't even been started, and I usually arrive minutes after the pickup ETA. When it's a busy lunch rush, I give them plenty of slack and am fully understanding, but even when it's not, when I arrive at the pickup counter (because they never seem to use that pickup rack) I am usually ignored by all the staff. I usually have to get in the order line to talk about my order or I'd never get served. This happened on my last trip where I arrived 5 minutes after the expected ETA to give them extra time, got ignored, waited in the queue of 2 people, watched as one guy made sandwiches at the second-slowest pace I have ever seen, got to the order counter, got ignored again as nobody acknowledged me for another 3 minutes since they went to the back for something, holding up the rest of the line behind me. No sense of urgency anywhere. Eventually I was asked if I had a pickup order to which I said yes, was assured they were working on it, and then got pushed to the side while other orders were made. I then watched my 2 sandwiches being made very slowly, shocked at how much time was passing. When I finally got sandwiches in-hand, I checked the time. It was 37 minutes after my expected pickup ETA and nearly an hour after I had originally placed the order! The guy apologized but it doesn't make up for all the not acknowledging my existence. This was the worst experience I've had here but, with some exceptions, they are usually...
