I absolutely loved Hobby Lobby! So many choices for anything you want for the holidays and crafting! Excellent prices too! The staff is wonderful, knowledgeable and helpful. The only thing I'm not happy about are the rude shoppers and the fact you could get into an altercation with someone wanting a parking space close to the door. I stood in line waiting to pay for my items for 20 minutes just like everybody else. Then this lady cuts in front of me with an arm load of merchandise. She says, "Oh my mom was holding my place in line." Ummmmm, not cool. The others behind me were starting to grumble and rightly so. I was about to correct her, but thankfully the cashier said she wasn't allowed to do that and asked her to go to the end of the line. She immediately wanted to see the manager. The manager read the room and told her it wouldn't be fair to the other customers waiting, so please take your place at the end of the line. By now the line was 6 more people long. And like a petulant child having a temper tantrum the woman threw everything on the floor and stomped out! Buhh-bye... Don't let the door hit in the butt on the way out...
Read moreAs we are now having a home built, we decided to check out Dan's Fan City. I must have driven by the establishment over a hundred times, but never had a need to go there. I was a little hesitant, as it was buried in a strip mall and it's store front was small, so I didn't have high expectations. Boy, was I wrong on all accounts. We we're lucky enough to be helped by the manager, Rudy, who not only was very knowledgeable, but has a dry sense of humor, lol. We showed him our floor plans, he had a couple of questions about the ceiling height and what we were trying to achieve, as we needed to buy 5 fans, and after I told him I didn't want to hear a peep out of the motor, he had some excellent selections to choose from. I don't know how many fans they had hanging, but I'm sure I overlooked a few. We are still a couple of months out from having to buy ceiling fans, but we will be back...
Read moreThis plaza has great stores! Books, crafts, shoes, clothes, home decorations, drugstore, and more...basically it hits a lot of items you might need all in a single location. It's well worth your time to go there. The only negative is parking is limited and depending when you go you may have to park far away or circle the lot. People do tend to get impatient in the parking lot as well as when entering or exiting. Fortunately there are numerous entry and exit points but you do have to be vigilant because some people ignore stop signs or don't pay attention to cross walks. The stores and staff within are wonderful, fully stocked, and enjoyable. Easy to get on and off...
