Zero stars!!!!!! It took 15 mins to even get my order. I ASKED FOR mayo AND bbq AND GOT A RANCH I received a sandwich that had a bite mark on it and it was the most discussing thing ever !!!! COMPLETELY UNSANITARY !!!!! They provided me with a replacement sandwich however did not offer anything else but a smug smile and no fries or cold beverage!!! HORRIBLE SERVICE. Facts to educate your staff!!!!!!!Let’s begin with the “Big 5” foodborne pathogens stated by the CDC and the FDA. These five foodborne pathogens include norovirus, the Hepatitis A virus, Salmonella, Shigella, and Escherichia coli (E. coli) O157:H7. Other less infectious pathogens that can also be transmitted by food employees to consumers through contaminated food include Staphylococcus aureus (staph infection) and Streptococcus progenies.
Norovirus is a highly contagious virus that can cause symptoms such as diarrhea, throwing up, and stomach pain. About 20 million people contract norovirus each year, most from close contact with infected people or by eating contaminated food. Norovirus is the leading cause of disease outbreaks from contaminated food in the U.S. Infected food workers cause about 70 percent of reported norovirus outbreaks. Contrary to a lot of belief, hand sanitizers are largely ineffective against norovirus, which is why proper handwashing with soap and water is a necessity.
Hepatitis A is a contagious liver disease that results from infection with the Hepatitis A virus. It ranges in severity from a mild illness lasting a few weeks to a severe illness lasting several months. Hepatitis A is usually spread when a person ingests the virus from contact with objects, foods, or drinks contaminated by feces or stool from an infected person. It is a must that all employees thoroughly wash their hands and fingernails after using the restroom. Some counties in the U.S. require all food handlers to be vaccinated against Hepatitis A.
Salmonellosis, the illness caused by Salmonella, primarily results in a mild to severe diarrheal illness, known as acute gastroenteritis. The CDC estimates that approximately 1.2 million illnesses and 450 deaths occur due to non-typhoidal Salmonella annually in the U.S. Person to person transmission of Salmonella occurs when an infected person’s feces, unwashed from his or her hands, contaminates food during preparation or comes into direct contact with another person.
Shigellosis is a diarrheal disease caused by a group of bacteria called Shigella. Most who are infected with Shigella develop diarrhea, fever, and stomach cramps starting a day or two after they are exposed to the bacteria. Shigellosis usually resolves in 5 to 7 days. Shigella causes about 500,000 cases of diarrhea in the U.S. annually. Shigella is found in the intestinal tract of infected people, and is spread by eating or drinking food or water contaminated with the bacteria.
E. coli is a large and diverse group of bacteria. Although most strains of E. coli are harmless, others can make you sick. Some types of E. coli can cause diarrhea, while others cause urinary tract infections, respiratory illness and pneumonia, and other illnesses. Still, other types of E. coli are used as markers for water contamination, so you might hear about E. coli being found in drinking water, which are not themselves harmful, but indicate the water is contaminated. E. coli O157:H7 is transmitted to humans primarily through consumption of contaminated foods, such as raw or under cooked ground meat products and raw milk. The importance of washing your hands is just as great, if not greater than the importance of washing your hands after using the restroom.
best of luck with the nastiness!!! Sincerely Serv Safe...
Read moreThe absolute WORST service I have ever experienced EVER. When I drove up to the order window I waited almost 4 minutes And was never greeted or asked if I wanted anything else just after I ordered the Whopper meal she asked what size soda did I want. When I drove to the pick up window the Heavy sey Black girl with a tatoo on her left arm was chatting it up with another employee at the counter. After 3 minutes she brought me my soda , without saying a word she took my money, handed me my change and walked back to her friend and continued her conversation. 10 minutes later she walked over to the pick up and put a burger in the bag and went back to talking to the same girl. Another 5 minutes go by and she is still talking and she look at me and saw i was upset and walked over to the person making fries and says can I have some fries please then back to her friend , I thought they were making new fries but they were not. I took my cell phone out and started filming them and a male employee saw me and told her and she went over and got my fries finally and the were not new they were heated in the microwave and had no salt on them. She gave me the bag and made sure the reciept was not in it nor napkins or even having the decency to apolagize for the long wait. I saw the manager and five other people come into view looking shocked that I was filming them. These people have no buisness working in fast food, they were unprofessional and self absorbed . SHAME ON BURGER KING because people have complained about this place for a long time. You should close it down until which time compitent people are staffed there. I blame the manager for not running this store professionally. I will be contacting the media to put this store in the spot light and find out why Burger King corporate offices havent fixed this...
Read moreI've been here a few times, and tonight was not the only time my order had some thing done wrong. I did a mobile order so I can go get it and come home quickly, given i just worked 12 hours at hospital. I pull up to drive thru and let em know i arrived. I had to pull up and wait til it was done. Once they brought it out, I drove home. Since it was a mobile order, I assumed it be correct since it's all layed out for em. Sadly, two of my whoppers did not have any bacon that I paid extra for. I don't complain much but thats 3 bucks on bacon. I called store two times while in my home and once on the road heading back to the store. No answer at all. Soon as I pulled into the parking lot drive thru, all three staff members (who was sitting outside) walks inside since they now have a customer. Told them my name and that I didn't get bacon on my order. After a few minutes of getting on the right page, they correct my order. 2 stars since this is not the first time my order is incorrect and calling proved...
