What an amazing experience I had yesterday, (Saturday June 7th), after visiting Scandinavian Designs. As soon I walked by the door, even though the store was about to close, I was greeted, and the staff made me feel welcome and comfortable.
Omg, and the furniture is so beautiful that it was hard to make a decision. There are so many options that are midcentury and scandinavian, love the art pieces and mirror accents, bedrooms set, office desks, consoles, patio furniture, etc. They also have a great selection of mattresses and great deal and offers in mattresses, including Tempur Pedic, which I'm buying. I have never heard about receiving money back when buying mattresses so this is a definitely yes for me!They also have a warranty that will protect your furniture and replace them if it gets damaged, which was one of my concerns, but you will have to ask for the details in person. I think that is totally needed and worth it.
The sales manager helped me and happens to be that his background is in interior design and architecture, so I had the perfect orientation that I needed to transform my brand new home into a magazine style home. Thank you so much, Denny, for all the attention and professionalism. I will definitely pass by tomorrow on time during business hours to make my final decision and proceed with my purchase.
I don't understand why other people write bad reviews, I honestly think that there are people whose intentions are to hate and ruin others, but the services that I received yesterday TOTALLY prove other reviews wrong. I definitely recommend this store to anyone 100%. Don't let others reviews to fool you and experience by yourself the quality, great prices , beautiful furniture that you need, to have your home looking like no other. A BIG THANKS TO DENNY! I am excited, happy, and...
Read more0 stars if I could. Came during the soft opening excited for a table we saw online.
The $1000 table was not glued properly and end pieces started coming up as soon as we stood it up. Picked up with a truck and drove 2 miles home and a 20 ft walk inside where 2 people were extremely careful unloading it.
Whether it was a manufacturing issue or damage from the loading guy in the back being extremely rough with the box (he drug it down 3 stairs and slammed the corner into the pavement) - the manager was not willing to make it right.
We were expected to re-box it and bring it in, order a new one and wait. OR we could pay $150 to have it delivered 2 miles from the store. It’s really convenient to have an OUTRAGEOUS delivery fee and if you don’t go that route they can fall back and say damage happened in transit. There is no damage to the box in any way. Extremely disappointing experience for a $1,000 table and a first time customer.
I’m just happy to know that this store and brand is not reliable, it will save us a headache in the future.
Update 6/1/2025: Manager reached out and said that another table arrived to their warehouse damaged (clearly this is a pattern) and offered us a discount on the “new”...
Read moreI drove over an hour to get to the store not realizing the time they closed completely irrelevant. I walk in the doors and the first thing I’m greeted with is literally an older man saying to me we’re closing in 10 minutes. Not hi how are you anything like that so I said I’ll just do a quick walk-through because ultimately I went into the store to buy a table not a single sales person said hi to me not a single person acknowledged me. A matter of fact people started hounding me that we’re closing in 10 minutes and I said yes I’m trying to get as much as I can and in 10 minutes and they did not get it. The level of customer service and I was going to go in and buy a table chairs, buffet and credenza.. They just lost out. I will drive to Brandon where their service is better. I then asked to speak to the manager and he’s one of the people that just walked past me in the store not even saying hello. He was too busy on his phone. Absolutely awful awful for experience. I...
