Westshore Pizza clearwater — Restaurant in Clearwater

I was hesitant about ordering from this place, but I went ahead anyway, because I was very very hungry. Usually when a person is hungry, anything is good. However, the customer service over the phone and in person seemed pretty disappointing. The young lady that waited on me, had the attitude as if she couldn’t wait to go home, and as if she did not enjoy working there. My pizza was close to 20 bucks in which I don’t like spending a lot just for me at one setting. Immediately, when I got in my vehicle after picking up my pizza, and I proceeded to eat a slice, and it was somewhat OK but by the time I tried a second slice, the breaded section was stiffening and it was very hard to chew. I don’t think I could try going there again. The last time I went to this place was 10 years ago and it tasted a lot better and the crust was a lot softer. I think I will stick with dominoes or Papa John’s from now on.

Wasn’t sure how to respond to the owners reply message and so I decided to edit my review by saying we were ticket number 33 tonight for Denise. And it was a pick up order. We ordered one for Tina’s cheese pizza with pepperoni and extra sauce. We pick the order up around 8:59 PM. Updated Review: After the owner responded & seeing that it's under new management, we tried a lunch special of 2 slices & a drink. From the first bite we knew this was a winner!! My Italian husband is very picky about his pizza and even He said it was fantastic! If you haven't given this place another chance I urge you to do so . You won't be disappointed. And btw the kitchen & decor is now fresh , bright & clean ! 5 star review!

After coming here for years & over a decade - something has very much changed here & Not for the better! The food used to be pretty good, not this horrible mess the last two orders. Meatballs are now frozen & intolerable - they Used to be handmade. Pizza was not fresh. And for the 2nd order in a row they 'forgot' our drinks. Over 40$ for a crummy lunch! TERRIBLE! I had a very short interaction with the employees here, so no complaints there. However, the food was a HUGE disappointment. I ordered a pasta dish, which comes with garlic knots. The pasta was dry because they barely put any sauce on it. Due to that, the dish was super low. Like the pasta took up 1/4 of the dish. The garlic knots were dry. Westshore pizza has the same recipe at every location in the area, so why was this food so bad? It was like they were running out of ingredients and scraped up the rest of what they had - then proceeded to serve it to a paying customer. If I had nothing to compare it to, I’d say Westshore Pizza is just bad overall. But the westshore next to my old place, just MILES from this one, was so much better. The same dish was always overflowing with pasta that was actually cooked well, and plenty of cheese and sauce. The garlic knots were to die for. Always fluffy and tasting great.
