Braum's Ice Cream & Dairy Store — Restaurant in Cleburne

I have tried to be discreet about my issue, but no one from the corporate will call me back and there is no option on their website to email them so now I am going to voice my complaint publicly. For several years now, when we go to Cleburne to grocery shop, we normally eat at Braums. We have never had any big problem until last Friday, June 7th, when we went there for dinner. Due to food allergies, I only order a hamburger patty. When our food came and I opened the container that held the patty, I could see a 4 to 6 inch hair sort of curled around and cooked into the top of the meat. I took it up to the counter and showed it to the worker. I told him I needed a new patty please. He just looked at it and took it to the back. I walked down the counter toward the ice cream so that I was able to see the grill. It was clean with nothing cooking on it. I could not see the man because he went all the way to the left side. In a couple of minutes, he came back with an open container with a meat patty in it. I told him I had asked for a new patty. (For those who don't know, it is Braums policy that you have to pay the same price, $4.39, for only a patty even though there is no bun, cheese, or veggies.) He said it was new. When I told him I could see the grill and nothing had been cooked, he replied that they keep extra ones cooked. Then he said that I didn't have to worry because it was a cow hair and not a human hair on the meat. I was stunned and asked, "What???" He repeated that it was a cow hair from when they processed the meat so I didn't have anything to worry about. Also, he offered no apology. I was shocked, took my hamburger patty, and went and sat down with my family. The more I thought about it, the more upset I got. I took it back up to the counter and asked the girl there if I could speak to the manager. The same man came over to me. I told him I needed to speak to the manager. He said he was the manager. Then he repeated that the hair was a cow hair so I shouldn't have a problem! Then h repeated that it was a different patty. I was never impolite or rude or loud through this whole ordeal, but at this point I was upset and told him I wasn't stupid before I went and sat down. I had totally lost my appetite by this point. He never apologized and, what's worse is that he lied to me about the hair, twice. We don't plan...

Why is Jasha angry? She slammed literally everything she touched the entire time we were there, and looked at me with disdain when I greeted her. My husband moved the salt and pepper shaker to another table because our two year old would otherwise pour them out all over the place and it would make a mess for your employees. We obviously would have moved them back before leaving. But when Jasha was cleaning tables and noticed this, she glared at him like she was imagining all the ways she could make him die right there lol. At one point, she was filling all of the cups for condiments, and because she was slamming everything, she dropped them all over the floor. My husband went to go and help her pick up the cups, and when she saw him coming she moved right in front of him and bent down with her hind end in his face. After everything was cleaned, an elderly man went up to the condiment station to grab something and she refused to move from the area where he needed to be and gave him hateful looks. If I could rate it 0 stars I would. We ordered 2 chicken strips and we literally got chicken strips the size of my pinky finger. They were so dry and gross. We asked the person at the register if thats the size they normally are because as advertised, they are not that small. They proceeded to tell me to my face that all their chicken strips are that small. They called out our number but our order had a different number on it so we asked if that was ours. It took them about 5 minutes to tell me that that is my order and they just mixed up the numbers. Mind you, the person in front of me complained about their order and the person behind me did as well. Terrible customer service. I got a bacon cheeseburger but it didnt have bacon. At this point i was tired of complaining so i just kept eating my burger. This was until I found a hair in my burger. Not a single time did anyone apologize for anything wrong with my order.
