El torito — Restaurant in Cleburne

Sign outside says Mexican food. This is a Tex-Mex restaurant. However, the wait staff are extremely friendly and courteous. Seated us right away and we're very prompt in getting our drinks (sorry, they don't have Horchata at this location) and have us exactly enough time for us to look at the menu and decide what we wanted before coming back. Almost like they were watching us LOL. Even brought us more chips just as we were running out and soda refills the same. I think they hired a lady just to do the chips and salsa. Very good at it too. She's right behind you as your being seated to put the chips and salsa on the table before you even have a chance to order drinks. Big thumbs up on that.

They have the best salsa for their chips I have found in a restaurant. Usually have to make it at home to get this kind of flavor. Each dish ordered was absolutely awesome. That says a lot coming from me, since I don't care for Tex-Mex. To me, it's ruined Mexican food. By the people...

As my wife and I entered this Mexican establishment, we noticed it kinda warm, as in temperature, not inviting. The owner asked my wife how many is in the party, she told him 2, then she asked him if we could have a cool spot. His answer, without a smile was, "yes you can go back home"!!! That was the rudest owner of an establishment I have ever encountered in the city of Cleburne, we were there to try a different restaurant. Sir, I hope your food is very good, because you really need to learn how to speak with people, and do a little thinking next time you address a lady in the way you addressed my wife. As I nor my wife will ever step foot in your place of business again.....ever, I pray for you and I hope you remember this review & see it everyday before you go out into the public with such a harsh attitude toward the people you serve, that keep your establishment in business and pay the bills for...

I'm curious as to where all these other people, reviewing this place, have eaten before. I feel sorry for y'all. This is definitely NOT the best food in town....Taco Casa is better than this. Very disappointing dinner. Especially when you take your child with you....as there's no kids menu or milk. When I asked the waitress what they had for kids to drink she replied, "I typically have them get sprite or tea". We're not all trying to have our kids pumped full of caffeine. No thanks. And ordering my 2 year old an $8 plate wasn't my intention. Then the queso.... no flavor, tried to order an appetizer of guacamole, waitress said they were out of it.... yet it came out on the side of a meal I ordered just fine. We definitely won't be back.
