Ordered the Reuben Sandwich ($8.99) plus a Fruit Cup for $1 extra. Total price $11.19 with tax. Despite the app menu photos, the amount of corned beef on the Reuben was far less than expected as was the sauerkraut. The Fruit Cup would barely fill half a measuring cup and consisted of 3 small pineapple pieces, a sliced half of one strawberry, and 7 very small seedless ripe grapes. On the plus side at least the Reuben was tasty (although the bread was very greasy) and the fruit did appear to be fresh. Updated 5/8/2021: added two photos of the Reuben Sandwich from the "Big & Bold Sandwiches" section of the McAlister's Deli Android app for comparison. I originally only gave this product a one-star review, based on price / meat-serving-size / product quality (bread very greasy) but decided that the taste was so good I should raise the rating to three-stars. If I later order it again and again get far less corned beef and sauerkraut than the menu photo leads you to believe is customary, then I'll give a one or two star review at that point going forward.

I placed an online order on 8/7 to pick it up at Cleburne branch at 5:00pm 5 Cuban sandwiches, one salad, 3 soups and one shareable nachos. When I get to spot the manager told me that my order was canceled because they run out of chili. I never received a notification about the unilateral cancellation. I had to reorder everything and wait about 20 minutes to received my food . They tried to charged to my card additional $10.00 because the forgot about my rewards . Then we need to start the transaction again 2 more minutes . When I get home I noticed that the order was not identified correctly even though that some of the Cuban sandwiches were different . In addition some of the sandwiches were mini sandwiches like the one in the photo 2 x 2. It’s look like a kids menu or the run out not only chili but other ingredients including bread . The appearance of some of the food looks like they let the bags fell on the floor very nasty look 🤮. I’m very disappointed. Last time expending my money in this restaurant . JJ

I've been a pretty loyal customer of McAlisters since they opened in Cleburne. I love the online order/pick-up window, the menu, and am a tea fan. But lately it's continued to go downhill. Tonight was the worst it has been. I did an online order like usual and ordered two green goddess cobb salads, plus a chicken wrap with a cup of fruit. None of these items are cheap, and I tip with every order. When I got the salads, they were literally just lettuce and shredded cheese - none of the other ingredients that are listed. The wrap was mostly tortilla, and for some reason had actual croutons in it - like they had literally just taken an already made ceasar salad and just put it on a tortilla. They didn't even include the fruit cup, which costs extra. I can't justify paying this much for food that's missing half or more of the ingredients. No thanks. Until they can better train staff and have more reliable quality, I'd recommend staying away from the Cleburne McAlisters.

I give this 2 stars because the food wasn’t bad. But this was The worst restaurant experience I’ve had. I called to place an order. The girl couldn’t hear me because the girls in the background chit chatting. I repeated my order 4 times before telling her I’d just come in and order. I came in and waited to be helped. There were 4 people in the front but they kept walking off from their registers. 1 man was upfront taking an order but pulled the girls off the register to finish getting the drinks for his order while there was a whole line waiting. I ordered my food and waited 20 minutes. A girl walked outside to curbside and came back in saying she thought she had my order. Half of it was correct but not the other half. I told her it was incorrect and she told me ā€œthey’ll have to fix itā€ and walked off. Mind you she didn’t ask what was wrong with it. I go to the counter and another girl asks if I’ve been helped. I tell her my order is incorrect. She says oh and walks off. Again, not asking what needs to be fixed. I wait at the counter for another probably 10 minutes. In this time a line is forming and no one is at the registers. The manager or lead even walked out, saw the line, saw me holding my bag and receipt, and walked back into the kitchen. A girl behind me is also waiting for her to go order and I think I have part of hers. We waited longer. Finally another girl comes and asks what’s missing. I tell her and they have to remake my order. It’s now been another 15 minutes and I’m still here. I’m 30 weeks pregnant and decided to just eat my half salad while I waited and I’ve been done with it. I literally called an hour ago to place the order in the first place.l and I’ve been in store for 40 minutes. I was really trying not to lose my cool because I used to be a manager at another location and I get it but when I went back to go tell them I’m still waiting and the sandwich hadn’t even been made yet I was ready to explode. I told them I wanted a refund because it had been almost an hour. Someone came out finally with my sandwich and apologized and gave me the recovery card. I took it and just left but guess what! The sandwich wasn’t even made right! It was missing tomatoes and barely had any spinach on it! I’m clearly pregnant and I was craving a sandwich not an...

We saw that this restaurant has an online allergen menu and we were looking forward to trying it out. When we placed our order, it turns out that the restaurant apparently doesn't follow it because we were told that all bread had milk. Ended up getting our sandwich with gluten free bread. We spoke to the manager and was assured that our meal was going to be as ordered but when we glanced at it, there was a slice of cheese lurking there. We made no fuss and asked for a refund. A few months after, I stop by for lunch and ask the girl at the counter about allergens, she had no idea so got the manager. This lady was just rude, she seemed so bothered by a simple question. Emphatically said that all bread had milk but wasn't sure about the gluten free one, so she asked one of the girls to go to the kitchen and bring the loaf to the counter, which she never did. She stayed back in the kitchen and pretty much hollered that it was ok, I have no clue if she even read the label or even knew what she was looking for! The manager said I could have a salad which I declined because I wasn't in the mood for it. She kept rolling her eyes and when the girl came back from the kitchen I could hear her muttering "you take care of her' and the poor girl just did her best. I understand the first incident as human error and being in robot mode but I don't appreciate the rude attitude of this 'manager' towards a simple inquiry. The store wasn't even busy when I was there, so its not like i was taking time away from other customers. This is very...

So this is my second time trying this place, with the same result. I placed my order online and was told it would be ready in "10 Minutes". Showed up, waited over an hour. Talked to a manager who instead of finding a solution, decided to argue and claim the large amount of people waiting all placed their order at the same time. They then go throughout the room and grab random people to give free coupons, cookies, and drinks as an Apology. But disregard the others who are waiting patiently...and not complaining.

The kitchen is inefficient. Completed orders are placed on this shelf full of orders. They place them randomly, so staff has to come search through the mass orders to give people their food. There is no way for the staff to know what orders are completed. It's just inefficient...plain and simple. I saw someone who had been waiting for an hour and a half and then they realized their order had been sitting on the shelf in the pool of orders. People who came inside and ordered got their food in the first 15 mins, but if you ordered online the average wait was an hour and a half.

I've been to plenty of restaurants in their first week...this is just sad and poorly managed. Stop with the excuses and come up with a solution. Same jacked up system the first...
