Absolutely terrible experience today. As a customer who frequents this location 5–6 times a week (or more), I was shocked by how I was treated.
We placed a food order for our family. I drive a new vehicle and don’t allow my kids to eat in the car, so I didn’t realize until we got home that part of the order was missing—specifically, my husband’s two bird dogs. He’s not the type to complain and would have just gone without breakfast, but I insisted on going back to get what we paid for.
I drove 10 minutes back to the location. When I got to the drive-thru, instead of receiving a simple apology, I was met with suspicion. They asked for my receipt and told me they could refund it, but only after they served the other cars in line—meanwhile, the my meal was sitting at home getting cold and my husband had no meal.
I ended up having to return a third time with the receipt before a more professional manager finally resolved it. That’s when I found out they were out of the buns required to make bird dogs in the first place—meaning they wouldn’t have been able to fulfill the order correctly anyway.
This whole experience was unacceptable. I suggest turning off the AI at the drive-thru and focusing on basic customer service, which is severely lacking at this location. After years of loyalty, I will not...
Read moreTried to order from the Drive Thru tonight only for the recording at the drive thru speaker to tell me the place was closed and to come back another time so I left even though it looked like the inside of the store was full of employees and it being a little over an hour before closing. I check DoorDash for something to order and this same location was accepting orders on there until 9:30 (and not through the Drive-Thru for some reason). I don’t know what was going on, but the fact that I had to place a DoorDash order just to get food from this location that I was just at physically but was told was closed was extremely suspicious. I was really craving bojangles after a really long day at work and wanting to test to see if my DoorDash order would go through which is why I did it…lo and behold the order did go through and I got it delivered within 20 minutes. Customers shouldn’t have to be dropping more $$ just to get their food like this. I could have waited if they were in the middle of cooking or something. Also the posted hours say closing time is at 10pm and the recording was going off when I came a little before 9pm. Corporate needs to intervene and deal with this. Read moreDrive thru experience. (I would recommend not going if you are on a time crunch). Pulled up at 1159, 1 car at speaker box, 1 other in front of us. Speaker box ordered within 3 minutes and pulled up. Waited for about 15 minutes before car in front of us pulled up ( at this point I was curious with exactly how long it would take to get our food- I got time today). It's 1229, we just made it to the 1st window to pay. Staff member was pleasant to talk to(finally ordered at speaker box at 1223).(No BBQ sauce) 1232, almost to 2nd window (1 car currently at window). 1234- made it to 2nd window! (Staff member- no greeting, just you had this(going over order), we said yup and got our drinks and she walked away). 1237- received food!
Food overall- borounds were perfect Supremes- on the smaller side, but good Dirtyrice- little greasy, but overall okay Biscuits- perfectly cooked Fries- always a negative for me (tend to be dry and overcooked(but my preference is when they are slightly floppy, because then they tend to be nice and fluffy...
