Eating at this Biscuitville in Clemmons was an awesome Christmas Eve experience!
There was a line of cars wrapped around the building, through the parking lot, & all the way out into the road! In fact, my brother & I waited 10-15 minutes at 9:30AM before we received our food, but I actually enjoyed that wait since it was my first EVER trip to Biscuitville after passing it on the road several times. Waiting to see what everyone had lined up for hyped up the meal & we discussed the cool exterior design of the restaurant (the taped/panel windows, yellow painted barn-doors, etc. looked cool).
The hashbrown was GREAT: it had a crispy exterior & good crust-to-filling ratio! My brother agreed that it was awesome.
Next, I tried the honey-bunā another homerun! The dough was soft & warm with a light, sugary glaze on top (that provided the perfect amount of sweetness, not overpowering but also not weak); the cinnamon provided a pleasant dryness to contrast the glaze.
However, the homefries were underwhelming (the only unappealing I ordered) & the reason I didnāt give a 5-star review. :/ They were limp & chewy, not crisp. I tried to salvage them with ketchup. Then, mustard. Finally, mayonnaise & mayo mixed with mustard. Nothing really did the trick, but I still ate them all.
In addition, I ordered three sandwiches, an Ultimate Bacon & two Sausage-&-Egg. All of them included fresh, high-quality biscuits as buns, & both the bacon & sausage seemed high-quality too. However, the Ultimate Bacon included double the normal amount of cheese to match the doubled bacon; so, it had too much cheese, & I recommend just ordering the normal Bacon sandwich. Overall, those three sandwiches seemed average to me, a LITTLE bit better than most other places.
My brother ate the Grilled Chicken English Muffin Club & described it as having āa beautiful blend of flavorsā, āwarmā, & āfreshā; he āwouldnāt change a thing about it.ā
He also had an order of grits & oatmeal; he described the grits as some of the best heād ever had eating out, definitely better than grits at Waffle-House. The oatmeal was delicious as wellā on par with store-bought Quaker oats; he ate it with the brown sugar that Biscuitville provides.
Plus, EVERYTHING WE ORDERED COST $26ā thatās four sandwiches & five sides (or four sides & a desert). Plus, the two black women at the windows of the drive-through both sounded cheerful & enthusiastic while working very efficiently; I enjoyed speaking with them, & one of them wished me a āMerry Christmas!ā which I loved.
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI'm at a loss, how is it every single time I come through the drive through I am missing atleast 1 item ALWAYS! Today I was lulled forward to wait on 1 chicken biscuit, so I checked my bag and realized I was missing 1 of the 4 muffins I ordered, and all 6 of my hashbrowns. This place really needs help, you have the busiest breakfast morning spot, but the worst parking and drive through location, your staff is very courteous, but cannot seem to get all the items in the bag the first time. I would also like to add, there is no reason to stuff 43.00 worth of food into 1 bag that cannot hold that much weight, the bag was ripping apart as they were handing it to me through the window and it had only half the order. I didn't get a different bag for my other items I had to come in for, they just stuffed it in on top of the other food already in the bag. Please help this location, I haven't been back in over 6 months because it was the same back then so I just stopped coming, but my family really likes the food here, if not I will have to vist other locations when I feel like driving...
Ā Ā Ā Read morePlease know that if management at this location treated you like you were only worth the money you paid them, rest assured you are not alone. I was going through the drive through with my family, now we rarely go so it took us some time to figure out what we wanted. Finally the lady manager tells us that we need to pull up to the window because we were taking to long to order (it had been less then 3 minutes). I said that no one was behind us and we didnāt know what we wanted. She said they get rated on how long each order took and didnāt want us lowering her average. I asked how I was suppose to order if I couldnāt see a menu and she told us to please hurry. When we ordered and got to the window she handed us the drinks and told us to pull forward. Apparently I was taking to long to put the cup in the holder because she tapped on the window and gestured is to pull forward immediately. I donāt think Iāve ever been treated worse at a fast food restaurant no worse that she was...
