Taco Bell — Restaurant in Clemmons

The gentleman who took my order was very kind and attentive. He may have been newer because he seemed a bit nervous. I’m very particular and he repeated the order to ensure accuracy. The dining room was very clean and well organized. The drink and condiment stations were very clean and well stocked. Now… on to the reason I “Ran to the Border” was for the food which was the absolute WORST pile of slop I’ve EVER seen. I worked for Corporate Taco Bell for over 15 years so yes.. I am a subject matter expert. Charter Foods here are really good ideas: 1) stop watering the beans 2) ensure the lettuce is properly drained 3) check temps, the crispy chicken was cold as were the beans 4) just because someone asks for extra anything does not mean you throw proper procedure out the window. I ended up throwing my bean burrito away it was so poorly constructed. The DLT was not properly wrapped and most of the ingredients were in the bottom of the bag. Not one item would have made temp. Are your managers ServeSafe certified? If so they would have been more diligent with the details. I am a stockholder and just saw my $$$ fly out the window. When & Where available orders for pick up will be permitted because of Covid-19 as we must take measures to social distance. All restaurants must remain closed for indoor service. PPP is on the way. Healthcare workers are exhausted and we must protect them first and foremost. Home cooked meals made with love are healthier according to healthcare workers. I believe there is a way to donate spare change to help feed Americans who are going hungry. Donations are greatly needed. Refrigeration/cold storage/vaccinations in our arms ASAP. One of the worst taco bells I have ever been too. I wanted to give them a second chance after last time I ordered, that was my mistake. My wife and I ordered some tacos and some cheesy beefy and rice burritos, and the tacos had hardly any meat or any other toppings. The burritos had almost no filling. Tonight I ordered online again and went through drive through. Ordered 4 things total, got home and was ready to eat when I realized there was about 5 lbs of sauce in the bag and only a single item I ordered. The only constant is the shift manager, Nalee I believe her name was, was here both times this happened. I returned to the store and got my money back and she blamed it on the people she was training and said she couldn't get them to do anything that she wanted them to do. Will definitely be the last time I eat here and would caution anyone else to at least check your order...
