Back in town a year later. Ordered an eggroll and the Triple Crown. Both were very good. Fresh vegetables and everything seasoned and cooked perfectly. Way too much food and I now have dinner for tomorrow. Went for an early dinner. I was quickly seated with an apology for not having a buffet in the evening. I ordered the shrimp egg roll and the boneless duck. The egg roll was very large and filled with shrimp and cabbage. The boneless duck was amazing. I was served a large sliced duck breast on top of mixed vegetables with a thick brown sauce. The skin was cooked perfectly and crispy. The meat was delicious with just enough fat to keep it moist. I was very impressed with this dish. I could not finish everything as there was too much food. I would order it again.

Arrived right when they were opening, so food was coming out to the lunch buffet. A few unexpected surprises for the buffet being boom boom chicken (fried chicken with a slightly spicy creamy sauce) and sliced chicken cutlet, Thai chili chicken and curry chicken (with potatoe). People have mentioned that the buffet is "smaller than others", but I would argue that A. This isn't just a buffer restaurant B. Those places have a lot of "filler (aka cheap) items to make it look like a lot more and C. This is definitely quality over quantity and this buffet has ALL the staples and then some.

Mandarin at 6pm on a Thursday. No one was inside eating which surprised us. First time visit, only a lunch time buffet which is fine. We ordered off the menu and got orange chicken ... pepper chicken and sweet sour chicken with rice ... veggie rolls and egg rolls. Everything we ate was excellent and nicely prepared. The waiter was very nice, helpful and engaging.

  • FOOD POISONING 3/8/25 *My husband had been wanting to try their lunch buffet for a while, we have been previous customers at dinner and I can’t explain how badly the buffet situation turned out. We came in with 3 children and the waiter asked their ages and we of course answered,he looked at us like we were crazy and then asked 2 more times to which we chuckled thinking does he not believe us?? Should I have brought a birth certificate to this buffet?? To which he said “NOT FUNNY” and walked off. Well my husband later that evening developed horrendous food poisoning.. we have been together 10 years and I have never heard him so sick. Most of the food looked like it had been reheated several times and the majority of the proteins were just hard and cold. We all took extremely few bites, paid our check and left. I am so thankful the kids stuck to noodles because it could have been a lot worse. it goes without saying but we will...

For years this was the best Chinese restaurant around. I would make a special trip to eat there. For those that feel the same and haven't visited since new owner has taken over don't waste your time! ! The steamed vegetables , parsley shrimp and eggrolls were good, the rest a big NO. The scallion chicken (which I loved) and the General Tso's chicken now have a strong ketchup base. The only thing different , they put those red dried peppers in the General T chicken . Lo mein is dry and bland. Szechuan beans were awful. Tempura chicken crust was soft and a little soggy and tempura shrimp was hard to chew. The crab Rangoon had very little "crab" in it. The lady that did own this restaurant kept it top notch always. I sent many people there for the food. I'm very picky about eating out chinese food and I hate to lose what once was an amazing...

My favorite Chinese restaurant in Mocksville was closed (New Jin Jins) and I really wanted to eat at a Chinese buffet. After seeing this location had a 4.1 stars on Google, I thought to myself, "Why not give it a try?"

When I walked into the restaurant, everything seemed clean. Quickly, we was greeted by the waiter and assigned a seat for two. I was asked for my selection of drink and I chose diet Coke (I know, don't judge me).

I grabbed some of their Lo mein noodles, sesame chicken, an egg roll, and Boom Boom chicken. At best, all these options were average and the out of the four, the noodles was lacking flavor.

My drink was getting low and mouth as dry as a desert. Still, it took 10-minutes for a refill with only 9 guests at the time. I wanted to like this place more, but it's average and should stand...
