Great family restaurant, something for everyone. Wide variety on the menu, daily specials for lunch and dinner. The Gyros are very good, tzatziki dressing is very fresh we loved it. Country fried steak and gravy is one of my favorites. The home made cakes are Awesome, Try several for the table, the chocolate mousse cake and the banana pudding cake are my favorites, but I do enjoy the tuxedo, strawberry, coconut as well. You get great service, usually very fast food times even with a full restaurant. My family loves it because you can always try something new on the menu. The Pork and Chicken Soulvlaki are delicious, come with two sides and bread for under 12 bucks. Most of you will be taking some home they give you so much. Friday’s salt and pepper catfish special is a great deal and is delicious, not real greasy. My daughter is a picky eater they always make her plain spaghetti with no sauce, two splices of toast. They haven’t served us a bad meal in the 7 + times we have gone. It’s always been clean, the staff is friendly, and they won’t break the bank even if you get five slices of cake to go. Located on 158 in Clemmons it’s close to Winston-Salem, Jonestown, Yadkinville, Mocksville. It’s worth the ride, if your passing through Clemmons on forty you can be there in four minutes if you don’t hit the lights. A locally owned restaurant with delicious food and great service they deserve a chance to earn your business, I’m glad I found them. No I do not work there or own the place, I’m not a paid spokesperson.I tip 20% plus when the service warrants it wherever I go, the servers I have had have all done well enough to earn it while I was there. Hope this review helps your family have an enjoyable dinner, save...
Read moreI've never felt more disgusted and betrayed by a restaurant in my life. Let's start with the hygiene: I found a hot pink acrylic fingernail in my lasagna! Seriously, how negligent and careless can a kitchen be? This isn't just gross; it's a health hazard. And it makes you wonder what else is lurking in their food.
But wait, it gets worse. This place fired my friend because her grandfather passed away. Can you believe the heartlessness? Instead of showing compassion, they showed her the door. How could any decent human being treat someone like that, especially during such a difficult time?
And let's not forget the roaches! Yes, you read that right. There are roaches in the kitchen. I saw one crawling near the food prep area. It's beyond unsanitary; it's a clear sign of neglect and poor management.
To sum it up, this restaurant is a disgrace. They care more about cutting corners and mistreating their employees than they do about serving safe, edible food. Save yourself the trauma and potential health risk. Take your money elsewhere, where they actually care about their customers...
Read moreOur first time experience did not match most reviews we read. A large sign said "Est. 1977", the decor was dated to that date. Just popped in and ordered off the "To Go" menu. Wanted a diner staple, "Chef Salad" but they don't make that, hmmm? I ordered a simple marinaded, grilled pork chop sandwich with potato salad. She tried to charge me .99 extra for the potato salad. I said no, the menu said .99 for a baked potato, fries or potato salad with the meal. The young attendant had to go check and sure enough, it comes with the meal. My wife order chopped steak with veggies. After watching people come and go we waited 30 full minutes and I asked if something was wrong with our order. She went to the back and said they were out of turnip greens. Really? 30 minutes to find that out? I don't think so. Someone forgot! When we finally received our order it would have been nice to have been compensated somehow. Things happen but you would want customers returning, right? Talk to the manager and get an I'm sorry, please come back but. . .nothing. I do not plan...
