It seems some of these recent reviews are aiming at tearing down a well established manager’s image and name in the community without any actual evidence or proof. It’s interesting that most negative reviews have pictures or better descriptions of events (time and date). Yet, suddenly in the last two weeks there’s an increase in “she walked away” or she “spoke poorly” but you haven’t provided a time or date which could verify or disprove this information. False names on reviews are always funny, too. I’ve seen a few new faces in the store recently and they seemed to really enjoy being there and the atmosphere even in the midst of a hectic rush in the mornings or on weekends. I don’t believe people would stay if the manager truly acted that way. When I come in I always ask how their days are going and have always been greeted with nothing short of a smile and warm response. When I’ve spent time in the cafe at this location, the teamwork has been impeccable and the leadership has been great whether that be from the general manager or a supervisor at that time. It’s easy to hide behind fake reviews but my suggestion would be to go in and experience this incredible culture for yourself. Sit, stay, drive through and take it with you, whatever you want. I can assure you in the years I’ve been going, I’ve never left disappointed. Thanks leadership, and all...
Read moreThis is probably my favorite Starbucks location in the Winston area, I know it's in Clemmons. It's also the closest to me, as I live in Lexington. They are typically pretty fast at the drive thru, unless some ahead of you has a particularly large order. Also, roll up your windows after you order because there seem to be quite a few yellow jackets or hornets by there.
The only time I've ever had an issue was at the drive thru, when I was trying to pay with a large bill. I realize it's an inconvenience for them but I had never paid with anything larger than a $20 bill here before.
The barista proceed to cop a huge attitude with me even after I apologized. And continued to have a holier-than-thou tone while she spoke to me. Oddly enough she ended up comping my drink for me, so that was nice.
The times that I have gone inside to order the baristas have been nice though. I often bring my laptop in to work or a book to read. The wifi connection is pretty good and I've managed to get a couple hours of work completed with no interruptions. It does get louder during peak hours but I bring headphones with me.
This Starbucks location has also been the scene of some pretty awkward first dates, back in my single days. Mostly because it's quiet during non-peak hours and because coffee makes everyone...
Read moreGreat service, didn't have to wait on our drinks. Great atmosphere with friendly staff. Great place to sit & work on your phone or laptop. They have some really nice cups that are on the shelves, they are kind of expensive but if you have the Starbucks apps ( if not, go download it now ) you can order your drinks or snacks from the app then you get stars for every purchase you make using the app & I usually try to save my stars till I get 400, that's when I generally purchase my cups because when you have 400 stars, you can get a cup & Starbucks will cover up to $20 on their cups then I pay the difference which isn't that much. You can also use your stars to get a free drink or food item but depending on how many stars you have, you can always use them towards your drinks starting at 25 stars. 25 stars will take a little off the price of your order. So remember to ALWAYS USE THE STARBUCKS APP TO ORDER & PAY FOR YOUR ITEMS, if not then you won't get stars to use towards your purchase. One more thing, around holidays they have really fun games you can play to try & get free items, gift cards & more. So the more you play those games, the better your chances are to...
