Mama Mia Italian Ice — Restaurant in Clemmons

I'm so glad I finally stopped in to grab some bread. On the other hand I might just always be "too lazy" from now on and get all my bread from them instead of baking it myself.

I grabbed some french bread, semolina bread, and half a dozen kaiser rolls. I think I make really good subs but it's hard to find the perfect sub bread unless you bake it yourself. I gotta say the stuff they get from NY is way better than my bread. I can't wait to go back and grab some bagels. I thought I was going to have to wait until October for some NY bagels so I'm very pleased that I can drive 10 minutes down the road now and grab some

I'm not from NYC but I loved the BEC from any corner deli. I grabbed the rolls so I could make my own. Also some Taylor ham from the store so I can make a ham, egg, and cheese Kaiser roll

Highly recommend checking them out and taking some goodies home to try.

I know it's not a true NYC sub bc I don't use a lot of meat. I just don't like a lot of meat on my subs.

Definitely going back for some pretzels, Italian ice, bagels, and black and whites.

OK this is for my fellow New Yorkers. Let me start by saying that you would not be disappointed I finally find a place that has New York Italian ice, but not only that you can also come and get yourself some New York bagels. I'm talking about real New York bagels get your hard rolls, Italian bread all from New York. You could even buy pizza dough and cheese and they have a wide selection of bagels and Italian ices, the service is phenomenal, the atmosphere makes me feel like I'm back home The lady who owns it is a kind soul. I have visited this location, the Icee is okay but the Woman that runs the place seems very cautious in handing you back your change! It's like she does not want her finger to even touch your finger, hand, nothing. I find this odd and very Racist because I am a Black Female! Two exchanges of money and she acted as if She dare not slip and touch my hand or finger! Not a very good look at all! Screams Racism! I will not be returning!
