Grilled chicken fingers once an affordable option. A 4 or 6pc with 2 or 3 sides. Now a 6pc with 2 or 3 sides. Chicken tenders have been run over to flatten them to a whopping 3/16" and maybe 2" long. I always get the 6pc as it's the only option with 2 sides. From last week to this week Oct, 27 2024, price increase .50. In the matter of weeks, price increased more than $1.50 and the chicken gets thinner and thinner. At this point, you can't even call it a tender. It's a bite. No problem with the people at the register, it's simply corporate greed while the CEO makes millions plus stocks and is also owned by stock retailers. Gas prices are down, inflation has slowed, yet CEO's and stock/share holders maintain their (personal) profit margins while the consumers are priced out of affordable food. It's a shame. Corporate greed is real. Enjoy the "chicken tenders" photo for reference. This meal with 2 sides is now $13.90. where's the chicken? Have a great day! Here's the amount of hash brown casserole swimming in grease that you get too. Not even a full serving sized spoon scoop. Then Cracker Barrel has the audacity to respond to me to visit another link to "give them more information." Look at the post! Enough said and shown. Automated emails do not yield results.

My partner ordered dinner for the family and when we went to pick it up, this is what we received. We opened it up when we got home and to my surprise this is what our food looked like. We took it back and talked to the GM BOBBY, in the Sanford location. She explained that they could make it over, but the meat loaf would probably look the same, just a little dark on the top. I said that is burnt, she continued saying it was just dark on top. Apparently, the managers were the cooks. We asked for a refund, she said she needed the receipt. We couldn't find the receipt, not sure we got one. We never had a problem before with the food, but I can say that the way this situation was handled, was very unprofessional. I Know whomever put that food in the bag saw that the pinto beans were dry, a ring around the bowl which indicates it had been sitting for a while. It took us 15 minutes from the time we ordered until we got there. That food should have never left the kitchen. She gave us gift cards because we were not eating that food. We will not use the gift cards there. Very dissatisfied customers.

After frequenting this location for several years, I called in an order today as I always do. When I got back home, my hash brown casserole and fried apples were placed in separate Dart styrofoam cups which is fine. They must have been out of their sectional plates. As you can see in the pictures, the fried apples had three pieces of apple and a little small chunk. The hash brown casserole was barely a spoonful and weighed less than an ounce. I did call and speak to the manager who took my information. Stated that I would have these two sides given upon my next visit. I don't know how anyone could serve this and think that it was okay. The manager did state that he would speak with the team but of course that only lasts so long. I truly hope these pictures and this feedback gains attention to ensure that others are getting what they are paying for. For this matter, the replacement of 2 sides is not putting me in a hurry to return. A meal would be better as this was the result of 2 meals that had sides less than anyone should pay for.

Recently I went to this Cracker Barrel location in Clemmons to pick up a to go order. My family and I enjoy Cracker Barrel. It's one of our favorite places. My food order was placed online. When I arrived 20 minutes later to pick up my food at 7:22 pm. I was given a text message link to notify Cracker Barrel that I had arrived and was in spot number 2. I sent them a text message link to let them know I had arrived. It already had the type of car I was driving, make and model on the ticket. I sat there for almost 7 minutes in my car waiting for someone to bring me my food. I decided to get out of my car knowing that my entire family's order was getting cold at this point. I went inside and spoke to the hostess. She said oh yes I have your order sir right over here. I told her why didn't anyone respond to my text message and bring my food out to my car? She was unclear on that and couldn't give me a straight answer. She just said, Hey sorry, that's it. I went out to my car and checked my order. Guess what? My biscuits and cornbread were missing. I went back inside and the same hostess brought me 2 biscuits and 2 corn bread. No sorry this time. Just here you go. Seriously? 2 biscuits, 2 cornbread muffins. Really? My wife ordered a meal for 3 people. That isn't enough for three people to eat. By that point my food was getting cold and I was getting upset. I placed my order in my hot bag. I got home. By this point it's 8pm. My family was starving at this point. After waiting for way too long on the delays for their dinner. My wife checked the entire order. Guess what again? Several items were missing again. 2 orders of chicken and dumplings,  fruit cups, fried apples, and extra biscuits. My family's food was extremely cold. We had to reheat so much food in our oven. We had to share our food with each other to make up for the loss of food. I will not recommend this Cracker Barrel location at all. The location is difficult to find. It's tucked away in a far corner. The staff is made up of rude people who aren't sympathetic to their guests over all dining experience. They lack good overall customer service. I hope that my community will see my review and think twice. I hope general management will correct the situation they caused. And yes it was an extreme inconvenience that they caused my family that night. As well as the order that I paid for was missing. My money that I spent on food that we didn't even consume. If you don't appreciate our business and value it. Hey, then that's fine my family and I will find a new favorite which really stinks. What a huge disappointment....

My family ate at this location while traveling and it was by far one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a Cracker Barrel, let alone restaurant at all. The back corner table to fit 7 of us we were placed at was dirty and sticky. The table had been wiped down but food from the previous customers was still on the floor and your shoes stuck to the floor from stickiness. Our biscuits were burnt (black on top), both baskets, not butter, jelly or plates were brought out with them. They had to be requested. To family members requested tea, it took 4x to finally get one and the other never received hers. She just stopped asking at some point. My son ordered an item that wasn't available but we were not notified of this until minutes before our entire tables food was done and placed on the table. SO while we ate my son had to sit and wait for his new order to be made. I ordered the Hamburger with smothered gravy and onions. My plate came out with a plain, dry hamburger patty. I had to wait to find the waitress to ask for gravy and onions I had ordered with it. When she brought it back to me I received a small bowl of brown gravy that tasted like dish soap and a cup of fresh chopped onions. I spoke with a manager and she did make sure to rush the order for my son and brought me some grilled onions but by the time it was all fixed my food was cold. The my daughter ordered the grilled sirloin (medium), it was way over cooked with no flavor and dry. None of my family ate their food entirely because of the lack of quality of the food. The manager was kind and polite and did remove my sons burger from the ticket since he had to wait so long and eat after we were finishing. The entire experience was unpleasant and I do not recommend anyone to this location. We spent $68 and left disappointed and some still hungry due to not being able to eat the food. We could have made a huge deal but it was one thing after another since we sat down and we were just ready to leave. SO take away from this, DO NOT CHOOSE THIS...

Just wanted to share how disappointing my experience was. This was a mobile app order that was late in being ready which was fine, what wasn't fine was all of the missing items even after bring it back reporting I was missing items and the staff checked it a second time. Missing sauces, wrong sauces, missing silverware, missing food items, cold food, underwhelming customer service...that about sums it up. Waited around for my order to be ready, took it out to the car and quick look in the bag I noticed I missing one of the 3 take home meals purchased. Took my receipt in and reported the issue hoping I was just missing a bag, staff expected me to spell out what else was missing after packing the 3 meals into 3 large shell packages and 8 more small nondescript containers. So had to go back to my car and bring it all back in so your staff could audit my order to tell me it was correct but was missing a few things and was still missing the 1 take home meals cause you were out....but my order was still correct??? So I selected a replacement item for it but still got home to be missing sauces and silverware. It still baffles me that the staff was fine with filling my order incomplete without mentioning it was missing items you didn't have and subbing it out. Had that been someone's dinner tonight and I got home to figure it out I would have been more angry than I already am. The meal ended up low quality anyways with the chicken fingers tasting like it was cooked in dirty oil and was greasy. Really...
