Dinner last night was my friends and my first time here. Our server was very friendly and, upon request, took pictures of us in front of their adorable "go Tigers" backdrop. The food was pretty good and the drinks tasted good, but as another reviewer said, had very little alcohol (we couldn't taste any). My friends had sushi and spring rolls, which as another reviewer stated, were soggy. I had a Greek pizza which was delicious. The atmosphere makes it very obvious that people heavily drink here at night. The place smelled like old alcohol, but I am coming to expect that at most downtown Clemson establishments. Since there was a BOGO flatbread deal (as stated on the sign outside), my friend bought two pepperoni flatbreads to go. However, when she got her check, they were full price. She asked the server who said the deal only applies to in house orders. This was neither stated on the sign nor told as my friend was ordering. The waitress went to ask the manager and came back apologizing but saying there's nothing she can do. As someone who has worked in the service industry, this was incredibly disappointing. The business was definitely in the wrong for not stating the stipulations on the side and/or as the customer placed a to go order. Also, as a business, you just lost four possible...
Read moreThe first time I went here it was delicious and not busy so I felt the service was very attentive. However the last two times I went they where subpar either in service or with quality of food. Took forever to get my order taken and my drink was never refilled. The very last time I went my rice was not cooked on the sushi at all. It was hard and crunchy. I sent it back and they where very apologetic so I did appreciate that.. however when it was remade the rice was still undercooked. The owners also own Solé Grill and Sushi Bar and they offer some of the same sushi deals. So I will be going there from now on. The service there is much more attentive even when extremely busy and the sushi itself is much better in...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I came in and where seated immediately and our waitress got our waters and asked if we were ready to order. After telling her “we need a few more minutes”, we sat there for 30 more minutes. Making eye contact with our waitress five times. She is an older one of the girls there but still young and had hoop earrings in with her blond hair in a ponytail. We gave her grace at first because she had about 6 books in her hand at once. We even told another waitress we were ready to order and she said she would get her.
With all that said we’re excited at first but we ended up walking out without ordering and went to BGR...
