Saturday, August 24, 2024, I went to Piesanos in Clermont. I had already been seated when the waitress came over to take my order. When I was giving her my order, she left and another person came to tell me the waitress was going home for the day, and that from now on he was going to be the waiter. However, I then saw the waitress still going to the other tables around me. When I asked the new waiter why she could not be my waitress anymore, to see if it was because my English was not good enough for her to understand, this was in fact the case. Because I saw her face when I was giving her my order and he told me that she could not understand me clearly and that she had a problem with hearing. That of course was another lie. The waistres did not even try, she just looked at me in a weird manner and just left and I guess she said she could not have me. The waiter then continually apologized and he called over the supervisor and when he came over he listened to everything and apologized as well. He then offered me a dessert for the inconvenience, but when I saw the bill in my credit card, they included the cheesecake in my bill. Incredibly, they gave me a receipt with just the two pizzas I ordered, which was in the receipt that I signed, and then they gave me another receipt including the cheesecake I thought it just was for count the cheesecake, like inventory or something like that, but it was not like that at all and they cashed my credit card, even when I did not signed it. It is unbelievable how an employee at Piesanos in Clermont can be so disrespectful with a customer and the supervisor came to do the same thing and try to treat me as a fool too. The level of racism in this restaurant was baffling, and I am truly appalled at how a waitress and a supervisor can be that disrespectful...
Read moreI was so excited to try this place given the high ratings/reviews. I ordered from Uber Eats at 7:25 p.m. and received my order at 8:27. I live about 5-8 minutes away from the restaurant and my driver had no stops. It was odd it took about 50 minutes for them to prepare my food.
I ordered the Rigatoni Alla Vodka, Caesar Salad, and cheesecake. When I received my order, the pasta was room temperature. I tried to look past that and took a few bites. Not only that I was disappointed from the food temperature, I was also displeased with the taste. The pasta was very bland. The salad was terrible, didn’t think a place could ruin a simple salad. The lettuce did not taste fresh and the dressing was too overwhelming. Strong tangy flavor.
Then I decided to give the cheesecake a try. I thought to myself there’s no way all three items are a miss. Sadly, I was mistaken. The cheesecake lacked density not sure if it was undercooked or not set properly after baking. The texture was not creamy, it was more like a liquid consistency. Also, it had a really sour taste. I felt like I took a bite out of a lemon custard dessert. There is a possibility they use lemon as an ingredient but I’m just assuming that based off of what I tasted. However, lemon is not mentioned in the description on the online menu for the cheesecake.
Maybe I had a bad experience because I ordered delivery and their dine in experience might be better. I will definitely not go back to find out because I ended up just throwing everything in the trash after a few bites and wasted my money. I hope others have a more enjoyable...
Read moreTruthfully I used to like this place! But the best part about it now is only the rolls for me, after this last visit and the time before my family and I decided we’ll most likely not be going back. To start, the service is fine! But for the demand of people they have they don’t have enough space or people, the servers are tumbling over each other just to get between the tables in the center. And you’ll always wait almost 20-30 minutes for a table. To get to the food, the last time I went both me and another person at my table got chicken parm, mine was okay, but his was literally charred and hard to cut and it was covered up with sauce almost like they tried to hide it. And this time I got chicken parm just thinking the last time was a coincidence, and mine (pictured below) wasn’t as bad as his was but I had multiple people agree with me that it was DARK for what chicken parm should be and definitely not worth $22 I still ate it and everything but it wasn’t truthfully up to my expectations. The only other thing that was an issue was that a table mate of mine asked about the kinda of soup they had that day, they had a bean chili and pasta figiouli, the soup came out and was the bean chili, cool! No problem, we send it back, it comes out and it’s the exact same soup that they and I mean just THREW some noodles on top of, they weren’t mixed in or anything, just the same soup with a handful of noodles plopped on top. Otherwise it’s a decent atmosphere, but the kind of experiences we’ve had, it’s truthfully not worth the $80+ for three...
