Buddy's Bar-B-Q — Restaurant in Cleveland

2 stars, 1 for trying to make the order right - 1st time, and 1 for the potato salad. I really do not like to write bad reviews, but I have to say this was an experience, to say the least. I ordered their meal deal, plus a small order of ribs. Got it from the drive thru, in a large box. Took this across town to surprise some friends whom usually give me and/or my hubby a meal from time to time. Got there and to my surprise NO pulled pork was in the box (you can choose pork, chicken, or brisket). I called and the supervisor said she was about to leave and she could bring it to me, I said great, I would appreciate that! She arrives an hour or so later with a bag, I thank her, get it into the kitchen and it's sauce! I call back and get the other manager, and she says she's going to get back to me. I waited another hour and 20 minutes, then called again and was basically told it wasn't going to happen. That they could offer me a discount or I could come pick it up and that the 1st manager was adamant I said sauce. The first thing that really stood out was the fact that they actually thought I would call and complain about some bbq sauce, when I stated everything I had and then what I did not have, which was NO MEAT. However, the young manager must have been too distracted to pay attention, in fact, the way she responded on the phone was as if she saw or new from word of mouth about forgetting pork. An hour later after this catastrophe, I have someone pick up some bbq on the way home...another $27 for bbq, that I had already paid $55 for in the first place. The person that paid for it, was the same person I was trying to treat a meal to. honestly, if it had been me, I would have figured out a way...even if I had to call a taxi for the meat! So...

If I could give 10000 stars to Buddys BBQ I would in a heartbeat! Buddy’s BBQ in Cleveland, TN absolutely exceeded all expectations for our wedding! Their team went above and beyond to make our day stress-free and unforgettable. The food was incredible every guest raved about it, from the tender pulled pork and pulled chicken to the perfectly seasoned sides. You could truly taste the care and quality in every bite. A HUGE shout-out to James, the manager, whose communication, professionalism, and dedication made the entire catering process seamless. He was always quick to respond, detail-oriented, and genuinely invested in making sure everything went smoothly. His drive to grow and represent Buddy’s BBQ’s Cleveland branch is truly commendable. That man needs a raise! It is clear this location is in great hands! On top of the top-notch service and mouthwatering food, their prices were extremely reasonable, especially given the quality and quantity provided. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. If you’re looking for a reliable, friendly, and delicious catering option (or just some amazing BBQ any day of the week), I highly recommend Buddy’s BBQ in Cleveland, TN! I have mixed feelings about leaving this review because their food is very good and their in-store dining is great, but..... their pickup service is sorely lacking. About two months ago we ordered a family meal, and it was totally messed up but we didn't realize it until after the 15 minute drive back home. We had to go back there to get the missing food, so in total 45 minutes of wasted time. We placed a simple order today and my youngest son when to pick it up. They forgot the hot-fudge sundaes... However, the most frustrating thing is that their store phone number is NEVER answered and it goes to a message "we are sorry but the voice mail box has not been setup". So the ONLY way to talk to them about a messed up order or anything else is to come into the store. Come on y'all, you've been open for 2 years, certainly you know your phone isn't setup properly! So now, I'll have to go out of my way tomorrow and stop by the store to speak with a manager to get a refund on my...
