Lola Beans Coffee - Cleveland — Restaurant in Cleveland

I moved here to Tennessee from Soldotna Alaska just over a year ago! I have followed Lola Beans on social media for quite a while and was so excited to get to try today after traveling from Nashville for work! I will first start out by saying the girl that was working with half brown half blonde hair in braids was not only outwardly rude and bossy to the sweet girl that was taking my order but rude to the car in front of me and then was completely unfriendly to me when handing my coffee over. Unfortunately not only that gave me a bad taste about the experience but my Lotus was extremely watery, no cream was added as I requested, and only 1 of the two flavors were in it. I didn’t want to say anything because I really didn’t want to deal with the rude girls attitude again. After managing a coffee shop in Alaska for 3 years, I know the importance of making sure every customer has a great experience, and I’m so bummed my first time getting to experience a little piece home again was ruined by this girls attitude! I definitely will come back next time I’m in Chattanooga because I love to support my fellow Alaskans, but I hope next time will be...

My favorite new coffee place! Even if you don't live in Cleveland, and just happen to be driving by on the highway, I highly recommend getting off to quickly enjoy a delicious cup of coffee or any of their signature drinks. I had the "breve", and for the first time it was well balanced and delicious (other places put too much creamer in the espresso), but the this one was perfect. My husband had a chai tea with coconut milk and he liked it as as well. This location is very convenient, since you don't have to get off the car, just drive thru. The service was fast and friendly, so props for that. I've had iced coffee and an Americano. The iced coffee was so bad I couldn't finish it; it was so bitter. The Americano (my go-to) on my second visit was "meh." I usually give restaurants a 3-strike policy, meaning I'll give it three chances before I bail for good. Lola might be a 2-striker. And this might be telling my age here, but for Pete's sake, put an actual menu on the building for people to see!
