A Disheartening Encounter: A Review of Cookout in Cleveland, TN Greetings, dear readers. Today, I must regrettably recount an underwhelming dining experience that has left me compelled to share my cautionary tale. Allow me to paint a vivid picture of my recent visit to Cookout in Cleveland, TN, an establishment that failed to meet even the most basic expectations of culinary excellence. The Frustrating Encounter: Upon receiving my eagerly anticipated meal, I found myself crestfallen by the lackluster quality of the fries presented before me. Stale, burnt, and regrettably cold, they were a stark disappointment that betrayed any semblance of culinary finesse. It was as if these fries had suffered a cruel fate, robbed of their potential to tantalize the senses with their crisp exterior and fluffy interior. A Paucity of Pulled Pork: To add insult to injury, the dish that purportedly contained pulled pork was sorely lacking in substance. What little pork graced my plate could scarcely be described as a generous portion, and it paled in comparison to the expectation of an authentic, succulent indulgence. Alas, the promise of tender and flavorful meat was but an ephemeral dream, dashed against the cold, unyielding reality of my plate. The Soggy Slaw Debacle: To complete this dismal symphony of disappointment, I found the slaw, an essential component of any respectable culinary offering, to be nothing short of a soupy mess. This side dish, with its unappetizing texture and lackluster flavor, was a far cry from the harmonious balance of crunch and creaminess that one would expect. Regrettably, the slaw failed to achieve its purpose of providing a refreshing contrast to the main course, leaving me with a profound sense of dissatisfaction. Conclusion: In conclusion, dear readers, I implore you to exercise caution when considering a visit to Cookout in Cleveland, TN. My encounter at this establishment was marred by an assortment of culinary misfortunes that could not be easily overlooked or forgiven. From the woeful state of the fries to the meager presence of pulled pork and the unappetizing slaw, it became abundantly clear that this eatery falls woefully short of the culinary standards one might anticipate. Thus, I must advise against embarking on a culinary pilgrimage to Cookout, as there are undoubtedly superior options available in the vibrant culinary landscape of Cleveland, TN. Let this review serve as a reminder that even the most lauded establishments can falter, and it is our duty as discerning diners to seek out experiences that truly gratify our senses and elevate our gastronomic journeys.

Glad someone was open later than 10 PM and people seemed to want to eat at. At first glance, I was not expecting much more than a typical fast-food experience. Surprisingly. This was better than normal stops with a nice menu. No brainer to order the “Tray” and build your own meal for a great price. We were in town for a week at a convention and ate here three times. Cheerwine Float?? Yes please, it was a nice treat to see on a menu anywhere. I really wanted a Watermelon Shake on our second visit, but they were not able to serve shakes that night. The menu is very simple yet well rounded. If I saw any issue, it’s with consistency in preparing the food and portion size. On all my visits, I got a double cheeseburger and cheddar bites that never were the same. The burger was basic, and a tad overcooked each time. Only once did I get the bacon I ordered on it. Cheddar bites are hard to mess up but if you overcook them, they explode leaving empty skins. Portions were another issue that needed attention because some of the visits I had heaps of stuff and other times just a few pieces. I didn’t complain because of the price but this is just sloppy workers. Double windows were moving at a good pace and the service was friendly. We used the walk-up window once and that was a nice feature. I can see this chain doing well in a college town and I’ll get my shake next time in the area.

In the last couple of months this location has gone downhill. It’s so hit and miss with their employees, and seems to be an issue with them actually understanding what someone is saying through the speaker. After plenty of messed of order tonight was the final straw. I ordered a cheddar style burger with added ketchup and jalapeños. They got the ketchup and jalapeños but completely left out what makes a cheddar style. We ordered chili cheese fries but came with a small spoon of chili. Also ordered a chicken ranch wrap and received a bacon ranch wrap. It’s become such a hassle to order here.

Oct. Depending on the Management, People are Targeted to give up their Employment. Hours Cut beyond reason to stay. I have personally been sent home 5 days extremely early this week.

The Management is Garbage. There Extream Amount of Drug Use, and Racial Bias. The drug Use is Your Either in Or your out. In my case I'm getting Put out from not participating or buying their drugs.

Constant Targeting and Abuse with use of Racial And derogatory comments and it Keeps religious individuals like myself on edge within their work place.

Military, Law Enforcement, and Individuals without Criminal intent are rushed out. It's not fun, and it isint fair. I'm disappointed. I've worked everyday extremely hard to earn my place within this company's employment. Now concerning I'm not a drug user, or someone to leave or walk out my hours are getting cut by management beyond reasonable reason to stay.

I've given them the hard work they wanted and hired me for, and I'm left with empty pockets and the conflicts of struggling to make ends. As well as having to find another job.

Sadly I've only been working there a little over two months and When I started there was employees running around doing heroin In The bathroom not even working. While the hard woking employees get sent home for leaving their station any.

There constantly the golden few that never have to work. Management uselessly let's them ride the clock and burn...

I had been to this Cook Out twice. The first time was great. Five-star rating with friendly staff that was very help full. The second time, however, was terrible, a one-star rating. My group has to repeat our orders several times, like 4 to 5, while sitting in the driving through to the girl at the window, and she still got things wrong. One burger was uneatable. No extra order of hush puppies despite ordering them. It was like 60 dollars the second time and largely a waste.

I am a huge fan of Cook Out, being from North Carolina, roughly 15 to 20 minutes way from their headquarters. Since, Cook Out is my favorite restaurant and I hold them to a high standard. So, while yeah, I will go back, I will avoid Sunday night or the drive through and use the walk-up window.

So, I debate between a three and four star-rating, since the first time was a 5 but the second time was one, but I settled on a four, because I feel the second time was largely due to the girl, maybe she was inexperience, at the window, but she did not seem to care what she was doing or paying enough or close enough attention to the orders. So, with that I gave them a four.

Now, the guy at the walk-up window the first time was great. Even offer me a Sweet Tea, because I asked about their tea wanting to know before buying one. I have brought Huge Sweet Tea each time I had gone to various Cook Out since. They do have good milkshakes too! So, avoid late Sunday night or I am hoping it was just that one night or maybe a...
