I am a frequent customer of Ferris Shawarma and I must say, it is always an amazing experience! From the moment I walk in, I'm greeted with a warm and friendly smile by the staff. The atmosphere is clean, bright and inviting, making it the perfect place to sit and enjoy a delicious meal.
Speaking of delicious, the food is absolutely amazing! I usually get the the shawarma platter and it's packed with flavor and just the right amount of spice. The meat is always tender and juicy, and they are even able to accommodate my request for extra protein. I still can't believe how fast my order gets prepared from the time I make the phone call and I pick it up.
The consistency of the food is what sets Ferris Shawarma apart from other restaurants. Each time I visit, the quality is consistently high, which is a testament to their commitment to using only the freshest and finest ingredients.
I have to say, Ferris Shawarma is hands down the best shawarma in all of Cleveland area. It beats out Taza Lebanese grill by a mile! Not only is the food great, but it's also a good value for the money. You get a lot of highly nutritious and delicious food for a very reasonable price.
And let's not forget about the desserts! The baklava is awesome! It's the perfect blend of sweet and nutty, and it's always a great way to end my meal.
Overall, I highly recommend Ferris Shawarma to anyone looking for authentic middle eastern standards. The environment is not loud or distracting, making it a perfect spot to hang out with your friends, or conduct a business meeting in privacy, or even just enjoy your meal in peace by yourself during a busy day. The food is delicious, the staff is super friendly, the atmosphere is clean and inviting, and the value for the money is unbeatable. If you're in the Cleveland area, you must try Ferris Shawarma - you won't be...
Read moreLet’s start with the decor, the color on the walls from top to bottom makes you loose your appetite! The floor is a mix of some areas gray laminate leading to brown/beige tiles, the booths are used and repainted and redone in a cheap pleather that is bubbling up because it’s not tightened and stretched enough! They say your eye eats first and that is true! The shawarma sandwiches are done with tortilla bread! A no no in a Middle Eastern restaurant! Where is the Saj bread or pita? The sandwiches are only meat, no veg’s Like lettuce, tomatoes for example. We ordered 2 chicken shawarmas and each sandwich had a very small skinny rubbery tall cut pickle and no red turnip like usually done authentically! It is also filled with garlic sauce because the meat has no spices so it’s a cover up! You will not understand me unless you taste the real deal in other places! The majority of customers I noticed are Middle Eastern students from Cleveland University who have no choice because they are here alone so this this their best place to eat! I really wished that their food is good but owner taking short cuts and doing cheap things to pocket money when it should be authentic honest food to their customers first then it’s ok to make $$, after all that’s what business suppose to bring. Oh another thing I found disgusting is the men and women bathroom doors have no top hydraulic door closer after you leave the bathroom the door stays wide open which leads to unwanted smells in the eating areas. These doors also ruined the outside walls which are all scratched up because of that....
Read moreMy thoughts are mixed.
The place is clean, McDonalds type of dining room. You order and sit, and then they serve your order to the table. The dining room was almost empty, so our foods came quite fast. The food is served on the cheapest foam plates with cheap plastic forks and tiny napkins.
I tried the chicken shawarma sandwich. Although their shawarma tastes good, the portion size is too small for the price they charge. They had 2 huge chicken shawarmas on the grill, but the amount of chicken they put into a sandwich is very little. I obviously did not measure, but I guess they do not give more than 4 oz chicken meat in a sandwich and they charge $10 for that, which is like 7 bites of snack. That is almost $1.50 per bite, and $40 per pound of cooked chicken !!!
Come on guys! Come to your self. You can own the world, but it is more valuable to own the heart of people who admires your food and wants to support you.
I see that they expanded their store upto 3-4 times larger compared to their initial store. Places like you still offer shawarma for $5-6 per sandwich. You are just abusing the market of not having a strong competition. Show us your humanity before your food skills. Please do not respond to my comments with any garbage of food / labor and other costs. Every business has them, not only you. I will probably come back 5 years later just because of my friends, but not with my choice. Don't forget! There is a rise and...
