I came to Lakewood Art Supply honestly for the experience. I love the way its set up and the artworks on the walls and the way everything is neatly displayed. I browsed the shelves and picked up some drawing essentials and when I checked out had a lovely conversation with the owner about my purchases and we talked about different mediums to explore. Going into a art Supply store instead of a big box craft store is way more enjoyable because of the people who are passionate about the materials. I wished her all the best on her success of the store. I recommended others go shop there too. She's an absolute delight. I really appreciate the helpfulness of Galadriel and her family at this Lakewood staple! As she is a former art teacher and also has a family of artists, I trust her to help me find what I’m looking for and recommend something additional or new I might not know about. I love this little art supply shop. Worth a stop for all artists to check out ! I’ve worked at every big box craft store and would rather buy local if I can for printing, painting and drawing supplies. The screen printing supplies are high quality and my favorite finds. Park right up front and stop in for quality supplies that don’t go to a big box out of state. Located around lots of cool little shops for a fun Lakewood trip...
