Choosing the Lake Erie Building as our wedding venue was one of the best decisions we made! One of the biggest perks was having access to the venue for the entire weekend. We got the keys on Wednesday morning and had access all the way through Monday morning. This was a total game-changer and took so much pressure off our wedding day, since we were able to set everything up ahead of time without rushing.

Another huge benefit was the decor closet and in-house furniture. We saved a lot of money by using their inventory, and it allowed us to incorporate beautiful pieces we wouldn’t have been able to afford otherwise—like couches in cocktail hour and a champagne wall that added a really special touch to the space. The venue itself is spacious and versatile, and we loved being able to have a separate area for cocktail hour to keep the flow of the event fun and engaging. Our guests had a great time and we got so many compliments on the overall vibe and layout.

The LEB team was amazing to work with—so kind, down-to-earth, and incredibly accommodating. Their support throughout the planning process made everything feel much less stressful.

The only small downside was the somewhat confusing layout of the building. Some guests mentioned they would have appreciated more signage to help navigate the space. My husband and I have nothing but great things to say about the Lake Erie Building! It is a gorgeous wedding venue and literally has everything you need on your wedding day. We got ready, took all of our photos, and had both our ceremony and reception here. That alone is a reason why you should get married here. Not having to worry about changing locations and transportation is a total game changer. Another thing we really appreciated was having such early access to the space, it truly made the week run smoother and alleviated all the stress before we actually got to our wedding day. This was the BEST venue ever. I honestly couldn’t imagine our day being held anywhere else. We had the ceremony, reception and cocktail hour in the space with 175 guests and it never felt overly crowded. Communication with Hannah was so smooth and easy, quick responses and always calmed our stress. We got access on Wednesday to start setting up and we’re able to go back the Monday after to clean up - how many venues offer that!?
