Lakewood Village Tavern — Restaurant in Lakewood

Me and my daughter went in because we had to wait for a ride and it was raining outside. We sat at the bar, and there were only 2 other patrons in there. The bar was dirty and there were crumbs all ober it that I wiped off before sitting down. I asked if she could make a white Russian and she said she wasnt sure, because she needed to see if they had any cream. I said, no worries, do you habe any Bailey's? She said no, but I have Ryan's; which is a generic Bailey's. So, I agreed to get that. She rang up the bill and on the bill it said Bailey's $6.50. My daughter got a Tito's and cranberry and her drink was 3.50. Ryan's Irish Cream is the CHEAPEST generic off all of them and is not even close in quality. An entire bottle of Ryan's Irish cream is 10.99. So, 6.50 for 1 shot in a dirty dive bar is ridiculous. My daughter used the restroom and said it was disgusting. And, in general we just did not feel welcome. This is one of those dive bars that has a regular crowd, and when someone new comes in, your looked at like you came from another planet. I did not try any food, and after the bar and bathroom being dirty, and being charged for top shelf when it was bottem shelf, would never try any food. Will...

Lakewood Village Tavern is the place to be. There’s so much entertainment here. Trivia nights on Tuesdays, Open mic comedy on Wednesdays & karaoke on Fridays! There’s this one guy that always stands in the men’s bathroom & washes your hands for you. It’s very convenient. The food is cheap, it’s well worth the buck. Also, the bartender Amanda’s hair is always amazing. The staff is accommodating with food & drinks, it’s an easy hang. That guy that washes your hands for you in the men’s bathroom doesn’t work there or anything, he’s just very passionate about good hygiene. They have steak night on Friday’s & they’re delicious & affordable. The staff doesn’t know about that bathroom guy & I’m assuming he doesn’t work there but he comes in handy. They have a high variety of potato chips in case the kitchen is closed late night (Lays). 5/5...

My experience was shockingly similar to Jason's review posted below. I was there with 3 of my friends and had an awful encounter with a bartender that later declared herself as the owner. After ordering 4 shots, we simply asked for lemon to go with them. Apparently this was an unacceptable request because we interuppted her taking a shot with her friends and called us high maintenance. I thought this was a pretty normal bar request ?? I think the fact that the bartender was not only drunk, but aslo admitted to being the owner and that she could do whatever she wanted was plain rude and unprofessional. I will NEVER return...
