Hardee’s — Restaurant in Cleveland

Just finished eating lunch here. I had their deal. I had ham and cheese sandwich, double cheese burger and fries. The Double cheese and the ham and cheese were burned. The Double cheese was the worst. Dry and the edges were very burnt and crispy. The bun on both sandwiches were burned a dark color. Very, very dry and old, like it was sitting around. Mom had the mushroom Swiss burger and it was much better. Not burned but not super flavorful either. I went up to the counter and told the cashier how bad it was, and showed her how burnt it was. She said to me that this is just the way it is always. I asked her if it could be recooked and she said it wouldn't make a difference. She said it has to be cooked this way so it doesn't make people sick. She compared it to Burger King where it's charbroiled. I said well, there's a difference between cooking it like Burger King does with flavor and juicy. I told her it's beyond burned. It's dry. And so was everything on both sandwiches. This has become one of the worst chain restaurants in Cleveland TN. All locations now close at different times and this one specific is the latest one open till 8pm although you will never be able to order food if there isn’t atleast a couple cars where they would have multiple cars complain. 20 till 15till 10 till they will refuse you and since Covid they have used the excuse of closing 10 mins early “due to short staffing” seriously you just went an entire shift with the same amount of staffers but bc they didn’t want to serve us they didn’t and said sorry due to staffing we are closing 10 mins early and by the way we were not trying to eat in either just getting it to go. I shared a review on here a while back that was all 5 stars. I have deleted that review now. Idk what the managers name is that is working this morning 8-21-23 but I have never been treated so poorly at a establishment. He almost threw our food at us through the drive through window yelled at us because he got our order wrong. He was very hateful and would not listen to us at all.. honestly shouldn't even be working with the public. We eat here every morning and we will not return. He wouldn't tell me his name.
