My daughter and I usually go to Ooltewah location but today we came to Cleveland one. Mistake number one. We get seated and sit there for about 8 minutes with no service at all. Then she finally comes. Her name is Myra and she was the worse service I have received. Brings out our food and immediately disappears again and can’t even tell her that my child’s drink was completely empty. She wasn’t gone for 5 minutes. She was gone for 10-15 minutes and after bringing the food she NEVER came back one time. Then we also need syrup for my child’s pancakes. No syrup either for pancakes. Then I stopped a lady named Shannon that was carrying a big pitcher of a drink and I said “hey is that water that you have there” and she says “yes” and continued to walk on by and never even stopped. She went on to HER table KNOWING that I was holding my child’s EMPTY CUP OF WATER. About 3-4 minutes later, comes back through and pours the rest into my child’s cup. Then we sit and sit and sit and I noticed that our server Myra had dropped our check off as soon as she brought our food out, along with a to go box. Never saw Myra again. Finally we had to just leave. Couldn’t get any syrup. Had to take the entire blue bowl with my gravy and put it IN MY TO GO BOX because I could never even find her and she wouldn’t come back to our table TO SERVE us to even ask for a to go ramekin!! And I wasn’t about to ask Shannon again. I have been a server and a bartender and never have I treated anyone like Shannon did. And same with Myra. It was truly an awful experience. My child and I love going to CB to eat breakfast in the mornings after we get done working out. Won’t be back here. Then, I go to pay and the girl checking us out asks “how was your service and food”. I said “food was great but couldn’t get any syrup for pancakes at all and couldn’t even get more water to drink with our food”. She said “ok.” Then I said, “I am not leaving a tip either” and I have never not left a tip for anyone. Like I don’t do that!!! Ever. I was floored that this lady checking me out didn’t even care either. You guys need to get some new workers up in this place, seriously. She should have (again because Ive worked in this industry before), OFFERED to go get us some water to go— anything!!! Nope. Didn’t even care that I put a “0” for experience on the keypad. Didn’t say “I’m sorry”. Literally nothing! To add on to how awful this experience was, the bathrooms were absolutely disgusting as well. It made me sick to think about “wow we just ate here and if this bathroom looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in 10 years by 1:30pm, what does the back look like? What does it look like where they are making our food!” Just so gross. And these people...
Read moreI ordered online. Asked for it to be ready about 45 minutes later. I got there to pick my order up and it was not ready. They said they had to turn the griddle back on!! Why was the griddle off if they had orders to be done. I ordered at 7:30 PM and the restaurant closes at 9, so I'm still wondering why the griddle was off if my order hadn't been done. There was a lady waiting for her order also. She was on the phone telling someone that they hadn't even got her order ready. The restaurant was not that busy at all so that shouldn't have been the issue. When they finally brought her food out they forgot her drinks and she said she was checking her order because they had gotten them wrong before. After I got my order 20 minutes after it was supposed to be ready they forgot my drinks also. I should have checked to make sure my order was right because when I got home, it was missing items and they gave us the wrong items. My husband called and told them what happened. The person that answered asked what he wanted them to do about it, but in a smart aleck attitude. My husband asked to speak to the manager. They placed him on hold and 20 minutes later the phone hung up. He called back and no one ever answered. This was the worst experience we've had here. Even when I got my order late the lady never even apologized. She just basically handed me the bag and acted like she didn't have time for anything. Time passes quickly looking at all the wonderful products on display. Finally the hostess called our name and hubby & I were seated at our table. The tables were full of customers some were ordering, others just getting their food, and a few were leaving. Our young server took our drink with Hubby ordering chicken fried steak and I ordered a grilled chicken salad. Hubby ordered a dinner salad before his meal and cornbread. Two other female servers were very busy and efficient. However, no one noticed us sitting there for nearly an hour with our drinks empty and no dinner salad or cornbread had been brought out yet! I finally stopped one of the servers and told her what was happening and she left to go find out where our order was. The young server who was assigned our table finally brought out the dinner salad and two small cornbreads of which one was a little overdone. Finally hubby's meal arrived and my order was a piece of grilled chicken on a plate minus the rest of the salad. Our server got confused and thought he had brought my dinner salad minus the chicken! So back to the kitchen he went to bring a fully assembled grilled chicken salad. This was the worst visit to what normally would be a nice dining experience. No offer to bring a complimentary dessert or discount our meal was given...
