We love this place. It's one of our go to Mexican restaurants places in Cleveland. We absolutely love some of the staff here and have come to know them well as "regulars". (Hey, Mario!) The food is good, most of the time, but honestly it's a hit or miss. We love coming here because they'll swap out corn chips with flour chips at no extra charge. Sometimes they're yummy, sometimes they're cold. Beer is a little more expensive than other Mexican restaurants, but still a much better price than area American restaurants. I've occasionally gotten the bottom of the barrel, but they've always exchanged it without a problem. Las Mas boasts some nice visual improvements. They've upgraded the bar area, nestled in the back of the restaurant. This is a great place to enjoy drinks with friends cantina style, separate from the rest of the restaurant. Summary/Short Version: Las Mas would be 5 stars with better beer prices, and more consistently fresh food. (Flour chips!). We love the staff and roomy area; also great for big crowds. This is Cleveland's largest Mexican restaurant.

First rime here had a great time the back area is always hopping you have a nice patio and then the back area has a stage for live music on the weekends and fun stuff every night during the week. We were there on a Tuesday which we found out was trivia night. After our great meal...see pictures.. we played trivia and at halftime we were in 2nd place unfortunately the last two rounds were a little hard for my daughter and I. But we had a lot of fun. Great food good service and good entertainment. PLUS CHIPS AND SALSA with refills not EXTRA COST. Love this place and will be back. Entertainment that I figured out is trivia Tuesday Singo (think bingo with music) on Wednesday karaoke on Thursday and live music Friday and Saturday. Like I said great place to spend an evening.

Pleasant atmosphere & music, not too loud like some places. Good salsa, right in the middle on the spicy scale, good chips. Big screen TV above a fireplace, bar with 6 seats. Had carnitas chimichanga, was pretty slow coming, he gave me a second beer "on the house" because he was attentive enough to know what was going through my mind lol. Chimi was very good with rice beans sour cream guacamole. Compared to west coast, prices here very reasonable. Will return if I'm in the area!

Waited 20 mins for a refill on a glass of water, while watching other customers get plenty of refills on sweet teas and sodas. Luckily a nice young man finally helped me, who was not our waitress. Then when our waitress finally made it back to the table, she asked if she could take our plates. Wanted to order a mixed drink, but was never given a chance. 18% gratuity for a big group but I had no service, so what did we pay for?? Waitress stayed at the bar the whole time. Upon checkout , I told the girl of my issues and she said oh I wish I would have known. Yet she knew before I left the restaurant and did nothing. Made no difference to her if I ate there or not or ever returned. This is why I rarely try new Mexican restaurants, and stick to my old favorite, El Maguey on Michigan Ave, they have the best service, best food, best atmosphere, and best...

A couple weeks ago my husband and I came here with my parents. A couple quick things:

My husband and I are Vegan There aren't really any VEGAN options on the menu but there is a very small vegetarian menu. Our waiter was Luis- and he was on point, friendly, and did not mind how complicated we were Legend, the manager, was equally awesome and noticed my meal wasn't right before I even had a chance to look at it.

My food was brought back out very quickly. Everything was very good. We ordered things off the menu but with lots of modifications. And everyone was super friendly and willing to help make it work. I wouldn't necessarily tell a group of vegans to come down here due to limited options. But you can definitely come with omnivores and still have a great meal...
