after spending our day at the beach that’s right around the corner, my boyfriend and i were craving some cold, fresh ice cream. lake erie scoops came up on maps, so we went there, expecting a run-of-the-mill ice cream shop. BOY WERE WE WRONG!!!!

upon entering, it smells as though you’ve been transported inside of a freshly baked sweet treat. never have i EVER experienced a scent so delectable. everything they sell in store are things they make fresh there, that’s why it smells so scrumpdiddlyumptious!!

my boyfriend and i both got scoops of the cap’n crunch pb and cinny toast, and… i don’t know if i could find the words to describe just how D E L I C I O U S this stuff is holycrap. as a peanut butter obsessed individual, i typically struggle w pb ice cream because it isn’t enough pb flavor for me. but oh my good god, these people did not disappoint!!!!!! i’ve never ever had peanut butter ice cream so strong and so delectable!!!!!

the next time you wanna test yourself to a sweet treat, change your life forever and step foot in this cute little shop. you will N O T regret it! they also have $1.00 samples of each ice...

Jen (the owner) was incredibly welcoming and friendly. She took the time to explain all her homemade ice cream flavors and treats, helping guide our decisions. Her passion for her craft truly shines through!

I opted for the "Go Bananas" ice cream and it did not disappoint! It was bursting with fresh banana and warm brown sugar flavor and was incredibly creamy.

The shop itself is a visual treat and decorated with tons of cool memorabilia that brings back nostalgic memories. While you wait for your ice cream, there's plenty to keep you entertained with all the fun things to see.

The Gordon Square location is another perk. It's surrounded by other restaurants and attractions, making it a perfect stop during a day of exploring the neighborhood.

Overall, Lake Erie Scoops is a gem. With friendly service, delicious homemade ice cream and a fun atmosphere, it's a place I highly recommend. I can't wait to go back and try...

Came in yesterday after a long day of play with the kids and the lady at the counter was a literal ANGEL. She gave 110% the entire transaction and believe me anybody who's ever been a Mom of two babies under two knows that that kindness help and outgoing customer service is such an absolute blessing. The prices are absolutely terrific especially for such delicious and perfectly crafted ice cream. The coffee flavor was DELICIOUS and made with real cold brew it was amazing. And rather than go to the store and buy a $12 pint of icecream and have to literaly fight for my life t get a scoop I can go here and get a far cheaper pint of icecream tha is smooth, delicious, and comes with a kind interaction. 90s themed stickers for my old man of a husband too ! 🤣 just all around fantastic vibe of the place and I'd say 5...
