I personally witnessed an incident where a customer was extremely rude to the manager that was working a shift. It was very busy & the customer wasnt able to give a credit card to open a tab (as per POSTED policy) , she said she needed to turn it on, whatever that means. She expected the bartender/manager to stand there and wait for her to do this while many other patrons were waiting to be served. She was told she would come back to help her when she is ready with her card. The customer then became very nasty & rude to the staff & other customers, so she was told to leave. I read a previous review that did not give accurate facts of this event so i felt the need to come to the defense of the staff & business. This is one of the best bar around Tremont! I witnessed a manager and her friends (sitting at the bar) yell at a customer that was trying to be served. The manager totally ignored this customer and then be rude to her. This manager needs to learn how to treat their customers and take a customer service 101 class. She was a true bxxxx to the lady. I will never patronize this establishment ever again. And I will spread the word about how unprofessional this place is. If she was overwhelmed as one of her friends stated then that needs to be taken up with the owner and not the guest. Serving her friends were more important at the time it clearly showed. And if the owner condones this type of behavior...there will only be more problems like this in the near future. Came here with my husband and daughter for an afternoon snack and was greeted by a very rude gentleman at the bar with glasses and dark hair wearing a hat. We waited several minutes and were finally asked what kind of beverages we would like to start out with. I then told him that me and my husband would have alcoholic beverages and my daughter would have a sprite. He immediately screamed at me and put his finger in my daughters face and stated he needed to see ID now. After I explained that she was my daughter and wasn’t having any alcoholic beverages, he kicked us out of the bar. I will never return back to this place.
